Ok, I want to come out and confess.
I am in love. I have never told anyone this before, as I think that many people would have difficulty accepting the object of my affections.

I am in love, with Laverne, from the Lucasarts adventure game Day of the Tentacle.

I just love everything about her. Her fashion sense, her kick ass hair, her cool attitude, and in later versions of the game, her sexy voice.
Plus she loves (dissecting) animals, and is wonderfully intelligent, dispite the impression that some people get. She's got this really sweet and innocent heart, despite her occasional violent urges. Plus she studies medicine. always a plus.

I think it's about time that we had a second sequel to Maniac Mansion. In fact, we can dispense with Bernard, Hoagie and the Edisons if neccessary, (except maybe Dead Cousin Ted, he kicked ass).
What we really need is a Laverne spin-off. That would rule.

Who else is looking out for a Manic Mansion sequel (or a Laverne spin-off)?

I have a Crush on Purple Tentacle. He's a shaker, a mover and a rocker. That's a triple whammy. MY favorite qoute from that game is the Punching Clown.
