Holding Hands -- Girls that is
 

Anyone ever notice that there seem to be a number of girls walking around holding hands?
I mean not just holding the hand of the companion girl she is with to pull in one direction, or walking with "elbow-pit to elbow-pit"...

I mean holding hands, clasp hands-- may be simply clasp to each other, like how one holds a softdrink in can, or finger across fingers... much like how couples (male-female) would.

What do you think are these girls?
Just a new trend between 'modern' girls?
Or are they Lesbians? Bi?
