I find this pretty sad.

It may be just me. Laughing at someone who has put their life into a dream and doesn't succeed is cruel.

She'll get over it and be back to kick some ass and take some gold...someday. Or she'll start coaching...or she'll go on a 6 day bender, sleep with her coach, and end up working at Wal-mart. Or...

Does the fact that it was done long after the actual event make it right? Not in my opinion.

I realized after re-reading this that while it says what my feelings are, it also makes it sound like I'm putting you down. That is not my intent. Different people see different things as humourous. This just isn't one for me, but it may be for you.

Love that one. Tough world out there. Yep. For every medal winner, there are hundreds just like her. It'll give her something to talk about once the real world kicks in. It would have to eventually, right? I mean, how many years can you do that? Probably the oldest competitors are still under 25. She should sue her coach. That's the American way.

I have to agree with G_Whiz.

That's not something that should be made fun of, over-dub job or not. It's not right, and not decent. I thought that the TFP was above that. I see I was wrong.

My speakers were turned down when I first saw the video. I too did not see the point or humor. However after reading those that replied, I turned my sound up and the voice over does make it humorous. Besides, it's not like anyone really watches the Olympics any more anyway.
