Hi lulu. It's good to see you here but I missed your image before photobucket took it. Try going to Google and click on the word "Images", then type in the searchbox whatever it was that your image was. If you find it then be sure to click on it so you can enlarge it before saving it. Good luck...I hope it works!

I'm searching for another pic that inspires me to include it here but I seem to have a temporary brain freeze...I'll keep trying, though.

Shell, your pink peace bus pic above looks (to me) like the hippies of the '60's got rich and went to Rodeo Drive instead of Haight-Ashbury...love them anyway

I'm aware of the "customs" of what they may have stood for, Poppinjay, hence referring to what they appeared to be, but I'm just stating that if the picture doesn't have a clear message of action or inaction (which the image just shows a woman couple topless, no flowers in hand or anything), then the image is just that of two women in another era being topless outdoors because that was what was expected of them.

I'm not meaning to hop on Pop (man, how grinworthy is my face right now given that I managed to think of this funny) but if I were to post an image of three hippies fully nude sitting inside a Wendy's munching on burgers on frothing their bodies with shakes, (which I may or may not actually possess) it'd feel disproprotionate to this thread's aim, given that my scenario makes no equivocal sense to post at all, other than featuring hippies.

Too bad. Pic stays.

"Peace on Earth" is a 1939 cartoon short about a
Post-Apocalyptic world populated by animals.

The first 1 1/2 minutes has pausing issues
and the cartoon might seem a little annoying
at first but is worth the wait....not what I
would call a children's cartoon...very scary...

Below is one of my all time favorite artists, Klimt's "The Kiss". Then you will see a sort of parody of it by an unknown artist (unknown to me anyway...still searching) using elements from the rock band "KISS". It has a rather make-love-not-war look to it. Art, you and I can commiserate with one another as we lament the foolhardy tampering with Klimt's masterpiece. :p But art is objective and there is humor and "creative expression" to lend it some value...you probably favor it for it's whimsical creativity. I don't know who the Pope is breathing his bad breath on (i assume that's what that green thing is on his nose) but I did laugh at his "blech!" expression
