Which Facebook games are you addicted to?

I'm addicted to:

Farmville,
Zoo World
FishVille,
And on mindjolt, I'm really addicted to Cube Field.

Facebook games are a blight on the application itself. :(
That being said, the founder of the company making the majority of them is laughing all the way to the bank!

none i hate them and hide every single one of them that comes across my wall.

so you can say I'm addicted to the game of hiding every stupid game and ignoring every single invite.

Absolutely none. I hide all game notifications, and have blocked a few users for being too game happy.

You can go one step further - when you get invited, there's an option to block invites from the application. I haven't had a game invite in quite awhile :)

I tried a couple small ones a few times (tetris, bejeweled, etc), but never really got into playing them on Facebook. The only game app I have installed on Facebook now is Chess.

but if i block the invites, I won't ever get to see which of my friends are into shallow simple minded games. :)

I get the same satisfaction. I can't believe how many different games and "win a free" and "pillowfight" applications are out there.

I hate when games manage to slip a notification into the lower-right popup. I keep getting the "See what question a friend answered about you" notification, and I really don't care to know.

fresnelly 12-03-2009 07:39 AM

I play Scrabble but treat the rest like spam and block them.

bazkitcase5 12-03-2009 11:33 AM

I block them - also do not get as many stupid app requests anymore (thankfully)

how people can get addicted to a facebook app is beyond me

nomcat 12-03-2009 12:16 PM

Poker, and nothing else.

Fly 12-03-2009 07:04 PM

none............i go there to promote my tunes..............fuck the games.

better things to do with my life

noodle 12-03-2009 07:54 PM

Mafia Wars.
I play with Grumpy and my IT department.
As long as I keep the IT people in politico corruptos and
energy packs, we get facebook at work.
Muahahahahhahaha!

Magpie_1 12-04-2009 06:36 AM

I'm addicted Vampire Wars, Cafe World, Happy Aquarium and I'm ashamed to say What To Ware. Martian makes fun of me so.

Bill O'Rights 12-04-2009 07:39 AM

 I thought that it was just my grumpy old ass that held such disdain for those stupendous wastes of time. Farmville, Farmville, Farmville. I was deriding this game app to my wife, then found out that she was playing it too! Almost everyone I know is playing Farmville. I don't get it. But, I'm going to take the fact that I don't get it and move on merrily with my life, while feeling happy for my "friends" that have found a lost brown cow wandering around on thier farms.

I did play Mafia Wars one time. I quickly grew bored of it, and moved on. But, I never was what you would call a gamer.

It's good to see that I am not the only curmudgeon around here. ;)

Fremen 12-05-2009 03:17 AM

I play a few games on Facebook.
It's why I joined it in the first place.

I play Mafia Wars, Mobsters 2: Vendetta, and Farmville, the most.
I dabble in Vampire Wars and School of Wizardry (a Harry Potter game).

If you want to look down on me for playing them, that's your prerogative.

My FB handle is Fremen Stilgar if you want to friend me to play a game. Just mention it in the invite.
