Alright that's 20 questions, more or less, rattled off. I've decided to treat this as I played 20 questions when I was younger; after 20 different proposed questions were issued to try to reveal certain characteristics, there was also allowed not questions but overtime guesses to identify the person/thing in question.

So, if only for my round, don't feel pressured to try it later on only because I set a precedent, I will allow an extra final five guesses in order to ascertain my personage.
The only thing that is absolute is that you only get one guess, so if you guess wrong, you have used up your one guess and must wait to see if any of the four players got their guess right.

Beside the above, my intention and mindest from the start was centered around two musicians. Right before the round started, I flipped a coin, it came up tails, and thus I went with the female counterpart of my dual choice: Chan Marshall. (Had it been heads, you all would have been tying to guess Damon Albarn.) What was surprising about this round was that no further intimate guesses were offered after I revealed that the artist was American; I thought there could have been more prodding questions like "was she born in a southern state?" or "Is her genre R&B?", things of that nature.

she looks hot, though she seems a bit undernourished by my portly standards; but I never heard of her. Reading your info about her makes me want to explore her musical works soon. I just searched her name and Cat Power on my favorite radio station WXPN 88.5 FM :: Public Radio from the University of Pennsylvania and they have presented her to the listeners but I missed it.

Well to elaborate, she used to abuse achohol and is defined as a bit "crazy" due to how she used to play and stop and talk and rant during her live shows.

I have one of her live shows when she played at La Cigale Paris, and she uttered no less than a dozen apologies and "I'm sorry's" during the performance. It was phenomenal, but a bit awkward. I've read in interviews that she is notoriously shy on stage as well, and combined with her perfectionism, past substance abuse, and overall aloof demeanor, it was a bit of a grating expereince to see her play live before the new millenium.

I've posted a few tidbits and samplings of her music throughout the forum, so if you are so inclined, you can search those out. She has a very smooth voice that loves to cover old style songs, as well as creating her own original music throughout the span of her career. I praise her "You Are Free" album as her best commercial success thus far, but her debut in "Dear Sir" gives you a real glimpse of the eclectic nature her music portrays.


By the way, I chose my possible successors of Punk & ring because they're guesses were the closest in genre to Cat Power, which is more of a bluesy, folk rock vibe. I flipped a coin 3 Times, and it came up tails, heads, tails.

Seems the uncanny synchronism will always rule over me.
