Okay okay....so officially Canada Day (oppps Dominion Day - to be politically correct) isn't until tomorrow.

But you know what.....half of Canada is either out camping as they had today off or we are just all out bbq-ing because we have tomorrow off!

This is my rant.....I love my crazy country. I love the big old wide open spaces and hell, even our crazy "rock" which operates on a half-hour time zone difference from the rest of us :hmm:

This is just a big old Happy Canada Day to all of the amazing and loyal canuck-heads :D (flyman, I can't believe I beat you to this :p ) and hey....cheers to us! Somebody...quick pass me a Kokanee or a Pil.....hell, I'll even take a Moosehead if it's REALLY cold! :)

Looks like some people in the neighbourhood have decided to put on a pre-emptive fireworks show tonight. Myself, since I can't be at parliament hill this year, I'm ready to celebrate my patriotism with a case of the beer that's so good, we named our country after it. Canadian.

Minx : I think the Kokanee we get out here is different than real western Kokanee. I had it in Calgary, and it doesn't taste anything like what I buy here.
