How to 'peel' an egg without peeling!
I am sure many of you have been waiting for this simple instruction in how to peel a hard boiled egg without actually peeling it. Tim Ferris, a time management guru, shows you how to take seconds off your egg preparation time

This man is my new hero. Who knew there was more than one use for the combination of baking soda and blowing in my everyday life?

I'm speechless... I must try this immediately. Stay tuned for a full report.

He's got it backwards...I'm gonna suck it out!
...p.s.: I hope somebody around here knows the Heimlich Maneuver |
That does look way too easy. I will give a second opinion. If it works you are the man.

Sweet. Wish I cared about how I peel my eggs, then I'd use it :D

That's so much harder than it needs to be.
Take the egg out of hot water, set it in a bowl of icewater. Go check your email or something. In a few minutes, the egg will be cool and will have unstuck itself from the inside of the shell. One quick crack against the countertop, then squeeze the egg, rolling it around in your hand, until the shell is all crushed, then keep gently squeezing until it opens and you can peel it off the egg in one piece. Takes me about 10 seconds. |

that's a slow-ass egg peel...I can do it in under 5. |
If you poach hard there is no peeling time, but also no handy carrying case either or tidy ovoid.
i love this video and will try it too. |
I hope he is preparing those egss for himself.

I'm still trying to move this one up on my schedule. I guess I'd have more time if I could blow my soft-boiled eggs out of the shell instead of pealing. How will I make time to take time to save time? It's like a fucking catch 22... FUCK! I'm going to blow my head off if I can't do this.
...huh? Yes dear? I suppose I did nod off. Could you boil some eggs tonight? |
