Thanks for the lyrics, Tul. I hope I don't upset Shell, but I love Nancy Griffith...I'll pop one of her CD's in on my way home.

Venezuelan Island? |
tully, you old fart...
grenada? |
True. But I'll never be as old as you. I take comfort in that.
|
hehe...
loved the pics of your place, by the way... that's where you were talking about moving after we saw you? |
Happy Belated Birthday, Tully...much more happiness, health, wealth, sex...may all the good things in life that you desire come your way before you're as old as unc :) I resist looking in the various "birthday threads" here since they remind me of the Seinfeld show episode in Elaine's office with all the cakes, and I need to loose a few pounds...nothing to do with me getting older like unc.
not T and T not a Venezuelan island not Grenada ...I think after you nail down the country that the island is part of, you'll home in on me in reasonable time |
...tully, hope you had a "a good all around day" ...Happy Birthday!
(...i edited out the "Hot Lips" B-day present pic since it wasn't exactly on topic) :rose: |

...llha de Maraca?

I'm not sure I found that place...in any case, I'm not there. Is llha de Maraca off-shore? Look off-shore.
|
...yes, llha de Maraca is offshore but if i head south then there is llha Mexicana Cabo right on the Equator and 3 smaller isles...all at the mouth of the Amazon river.

Yes. I was suppose to move into this place in early winter. Then certainly by the end of winter. The it was spring and it just kept going on and on. Once I got this place I couldn't power and phone hooked. At point I was in both houses for almost two months. For power I ended climbing the pole and hooking it up myself. But for tech. reasons I couldn't get 220, thus no A/C and I couldn't do the phone at all. But I'm here now and it's been worth it. ---------- Post added at 10:50 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:39 AM ---------- Quote:

The Archipelago of Saint Peter and Saint Paul?
|
Wild guesses don't count, Tul! If they did, you would have found me ;) Yes, I'm on St. Peter and Paul Rocks. You're up next, bud.
The islets expose serpentinized mantle peridotite and kaesurtite mylonite on the top of the second-largest megamullion in the world, and they are the only location on Earth where the abyssal mantle is exposed above sea level. I guess wild guesses do count. But really when you said it didn't contain the word "island" in it's name and was NH, the Google made short work of it and it really wasn't much of a wild guess.
Ok, where be I? |

Tul, is your head spinning...are you caught up in a Sedona Vortex?
Sedona is a sacred place where metaphysical energy emanates from the inner earth. Sedona is recognized worldwide for the presence of powerful energy spots known as "vortices." According to some, Sedona Arizona's towering red rocks stimulate sensitivity permitting people to realize true dreams and ambitions. Points of inner earth energy emanations disperse across the Sedona area but are strongest at particular locations. The best-known Sedona vortex sites include Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock (Red Rock Crossing), and Boynton Canyon. |

some tombstones are flat...Are you in Tombstone, Arizona for the shootout at the O.K. Corral?
oops, Tombstone is south of 10...will report back ok, my new guess: are you in Tortilla Flats? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tortilla_Flat%2C_Arizona Tortilla Flats is the last surviving stagecoach stop along the Apache Trail. Tortilla Flat is presumed to be Arizona's smallest official "community" having a U.S. Post Office and voter's precinct. The town has a population of 6. Hey, if a few of us go there we could double the population! |

...the Ukraine where they decorate those beautiful eggs?
|
not any of the guesses above...not Laos, not Europe.
I did check out those Lao ant egg omletes which are apparently made with regular chicken eggs and then the ant eggs added for flavor, a mild bitterness...next time I'm in Lao or a Laotian restaurant I might give this a try. Otherwise, where I am has nothing in particular to do with eggs other than how eggs would be related to any other random place. Forget the eggs as far as finding where I am and we can enjoy some omletes and eggs benedict after you find me...I prefer smoked salmon on my eggs benedict rather than the traditional ham < that's not a clue, I'm just saying. |

Is the "Gulf of Arden" the same as the Gulf of Aden? I'm not sure.
But in fact, I'm sort of between the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean. Technically this island is usually considered to be in the Indian Ocean so unc is correct. Think "unusual, other-worldly..." to describe some features of this place. |
