Post a Truth

Just to pull some of the negative karma off the Lie thread, post here. If you know it's true, let the rest of us know.

Hal Rocks!

uncle phil 01-28-2008 01:37 PM

life is indeed good...

BadNick 01-28-2008 02:22 PM

Truth is, I've wondered how long Hal will sacrifice the bandwidth to maintain some of our nonsense threads. I fear we are doomed. Other than that, life has been especially great lately and for the forseeable future.

BadNick 01-30-2008 08:02 AM

Truth must be too nonsensical for this forum.

BadNick 03-06-2008 04:51 AM

If you guys insist, I'll supplement my recent posting here of me in a Miss America outfit with one of me in a wedding gown and bra filled with a few of my puffiest sweat socks. Truth is, I wore this gown to my sister's wedding. Sorry to ramble on, again, but a short funny story; a local republican politician was having a fund raising dinner in the next room from where our wedding was taking place, and one of his aides, probably seeing how cute I looked, had the guts to ask me to introduce him by saying a few words on the podium. Unbeknownst to them, I had a nonsense idea so when I got up there dressed like a bride but with a somewhat deep masculine voice, I said something about how "I first met Harry, our honored guest, in a bar downtown, I won't say which bar in case that may effect his voting base, but at that time I was wearing a more casual dress and he came up to me to ask me if I would vote for a guy like him. I said anybody who has the guts to ask me that in a transvestite bar has my vote" ...mostly got laughs but a few shocked quiet pauses, too. And that's the truth.

BadNick 03-07-2008 07:34 AM

ring, we have something in common ...or not so common.

The first day I went to the local Boy Scouts meeting and joined, I got thrown out. The Scout Master was a retired Marine drill instructor, tough guy, he caught me messing around, ordered me to do 100 push ups, I said hell no I didn't do anything wrong, I got ordered to leave and never come back. A half hour later I went back and apologized and they took me back. I had a very happy fun time for the next few years, I really liked camping and learning about nature etc. The Scout Master turned out to be a very fair, caring man who taught us a lot.

ring 03-07-2008 08:38 AM

I objected to the scoutmaster's harsh treatment of one of my fellows.
I was sent home...

My Air-Force Officer father agreed with me...
he taught me all I needed to know...

How to make a fire, safely
How to operate a lawn-mower safely..

How to 'Fly Low' safely....

some fun...

uncle phil 03-07-2008 01:40 PM

girldetective 03-10-2008 10:02 AM

Grits and tuna together is as bad as it sounds.

BadNick 03-10-2008 11:05 AM

I like grits, I like tuna. What could be bad? I would drizzle this with a good olive oil and a few drops of aged balsamic vinegar, and that's the truth. Oh yeah, a fine dry white wine with these fishy grits.

jewels 03-11-2008 11:41 AM

Spicy Deviants? That's what I'll call my new band. :D
