Salaryman in the rain; Otsuka, Tokyo ; Photo by: Alfie Goodrich author's comments: After a meeting in Onarimon, I got on the Mita Line and ended up in Sugamo. From there I walked through to Otsuka, mainly because I had never done that walk but also because Otsuka has some lovely streets; particularly this one. Not only is it quite long and straight but it has a few dips and crests, which make the scenes and perspective you get from low-down quite interesting. I was really just there snapping people with umbrellas. Not a very nice day for the early part of yesterday. Being out in the rain almost gave me a cold and shooting with an umbrella in one hand is not easy and I gave up after a while and just got wet instead. Still, some nice results especially this one.
