while I was searching for the previous linked-pic, I got myself re-acquainted with this little gem of a web search client,
& I saw this album cover that made me pause for a second or two, and I now realize why: fate told me I was going to use it.

really quite cool. a question: would this happen to be your blog, BadNick?
It's authored by some guy named "Nikos", I found your image on his page, and it details his 2006 trip to Canadia, and among it, he mentions the landmark CN Tower.
"Also, a special attraction is the CN Tower, the tallest building in the world (but I think that overcoming the Dubai and is now second) to 545 meters."
Alas, the original language it was written was Greek, so I guess that rules out this particular extracurricular activity of yours.

(above) At the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, the School of Art, Design and Media utilizes green roofing in a modern way.
The green roof stretches across the five-story building, blending into its surrounding landscape, while providing several environmental advantages.
It is as visually pleasing as it is functional. Green roofs are reported to absorb up to 70 percent of rain runoff, thereby preventing pollution of waterways.
In addition, green roofs absorb carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to reduce carbon emissions, and also provide natural insulation for the building, reducing energy costs.
This innovative design combines modern architecture with green concepts, yielding a truly amazing setting for an art school.

Salaryman in the rain; Otsuka, Tokyo ; Photo by: Alfie Goodrich

author's comments:
After a meeting in Onarimon, I got on the Mita Line and ended up in Sugamo. From there I walked through to Otsuka, mainly because I had never done that walk but also because Otsuka has some lovely streets; particularly this one. Not only is it quite long and straight but it has a few dips and crests, which make the scenes and perspective you get from low-down quite interesting. I was really just there snapping people with umbrellas. Not a very nice day for the early part of yesterday. Being out in the rain almost gave me a cold and shooting with an umbrella in one hand is not easy and I gave up after a while and just got wet instead. Still, some nice results especially this one.

The tree-dwelling pygmy marmoset is the world’s smallest monkey, with adults only reaching up to 5 inches in length and 6 ounces in weight. And when they’re babies, like these albino twins born at the Frösö Zoo in Ostersund, Sweden in 2006, they’re exceedingly tiny and unbelievably cute. Pygmy marmosets, whose natural habitat is the western Amazon rainforest of South America, make a lot of loud noises for their tiny size – their whistles and squeals travel far throughout the jungle.
