So, there's this killer. He's an ex-jock who never made it past High School football. He has since been subjected to working for the nerds that he once picked on in school. He hates it and wants revenge.

He kidnaps geeks and chains them up. He then tells them each night to pick the winner of a sports game that is going to be played. If they choose correctly, they live for another night. If they are wrong, he kills them... in some sports fashion.

One day, he captures the wrong nerd...

ok, ok.. Smalltown USA, John Everyman decides to become Jane Everywoman, I see it as a Musical Drama, set in 1972 Nebraska, Staring William H Macy as John, and Celine Dion as his supportive but plutonic wife Barb. They Solve a crime each week with every season leading up to a cliffhanger about the real power behind the murders.. Also staring, John Goodman playing the best friend-turned on and off lover Frank.
