Ever wondered why the US finds counting their votes difficult?

This is why you go to the courthouse about a week ahead of time, get a copy of the ballot, figure out how you are going to vote, and bring notes to the voting booth. An informed voter is a smart voter!

Wow, thats insane. Not a whole lot of competition for judge spots. I wonder what the pre-requisites are, easy career change.

Daval, you have to get elected in order to experience the "not much competition".

To get elected, you need a huge budget. And you are going against someone who has been building up an election warchest for just this eventuallity...

I think that his point was that there are some "races" with only one candidate.

Well paid job with no competition in the ballot - I can see the atraction.
