GUILTY!!! except while I went to weight watchers. Cant lie when ya get on a scale every week. I laugh at work though, I see ID all day and you wouldnt believe how BAD they lie! 300 and 400 pound women saying they weigh 155 hahahaha ok :-)

uncle phil 05-26-2006 04:03 PM

like the man says, as long as they look good naked...

Willravel 05-26-2006 04:45 PM

That's pretty funny, but I have to wonder...why lie? In the past 5 or 6 years I've been anywhere from 235 to 165. Is there really such a difference in vanity between the genders? I'd like to think not, but evidence seems more often than not to support a divergence of the vanities.

Ladies: you are who you are, and everyone should respect that. If you feel you're not in good shape, then please to take steps to help yourself.

rhaevyn 05-26-2006 07:02 PM

I don't...I just don't tell anybody. It's nobody's business but my own (and my doctor's) how much I weigh.

noodle 05-27-2006 12:06 PM

The linky-link doesn't work for me, but yeah... I used to.
I weighed 220, but most people didn't think so. I looked about 180, I guess. I was embarrassed that I'd let myself get that big for my frame, even though a lot of it was health related. I got down to 125 and had no problems telling anyone so and what I weighed before. And I don't care that I gained 10 lbs back. I'm happy, healthy, and went from popping out of a size 18 to a 4/6/8 depending on the store. Who cares? Rhaevyn's right. It's no one's business. The ridiculousness of putting it on your driver's license is beyond me. They've got your picture. Duh.

The Day I decided last year to loose weight I went on the scale with my clothes on. I use that make and compare to what the scales says now. SO I am kinda fudging the numbers for a bigger loss. So I guess I lie to myself.

So its wieght +20= Actual weight. Kind of like the how many guys has she slept with formula. Something like women's number X2, and for men their number /3

newlyable 05-27-2006 05:20 PM

i weigh 115pds

snowy 05-27-2006 05:48 PM

I don't lie about my weight. Sometimes I might give an inaccurate number, but that's usually because I haven't been on a scale recently.

171 lbs, by the way. Though oddly, when I stepped on the scale this morning it told me I weight 153. Sure enough, the battery's dying--cause I certainly didn't lose that much weight overnight!

It's a fact that can be used to help identify you. I find that completely acceptable to have on a license.

Also, especially with women, the picture may have little in common with the person it belongs to. :)

Grasshopper Green 05-28-2006 04:42 AM

I wonder how many women in the skit said their real weight and weren't shown.

maleficent 05-28-2006 05:06 AM

Pictures are a useless way of identifying someone... my passport picture is about 6 years old now, and looks nothing like me... hair styles, hair colors even eye colors can be easily changed... weight can easily change so I'm not sure why that's even asked... Height can even be altered by shoes... I've never been measured for how tall I am anywhere other than a doctor's office when I was in high school - -I just know how tall I am...

Other than using it for access into a bar, what's the point of a picture on a liscence anyhow?

Sugarmouse 06-06-2006 10:13 PM

I never mention my weight! i say i dont know.i do know, and im embarressed!llol
and like fredweena i have been toldi look nowhere near what i actually weigh.i hope its true !

little_tippler 06-07-2006 05:59 AM

Last time I weighed myself I was 123 lbs, I don't usually lie about my weight, I see no reason to. Then again I don't get asked that on a regular basis!

Ample 06-07-2006 06:07 AM

I sent an email to a friend last week about this, told her that the average female lies about her weight by 20lbs, and asked her if she did the same. She said, "I don't exagerrate truth. It's never come up where I would tell someone my weight, you know? And it is nobodys business and would tell even if they asked"

I bet a lot of women feel this way.

krwlz 06-13-2006 02:43 PM

Hey, Ive known girls who look amazing at 120, and Ive known other that look amazing at 155 (oddly, my weight). And those are just the ones for whom I know the weights. So it really doesnt mean much to me. I have scored points before while asking though... I guessed 120... She laughed and said more like 135...
