The NSFW Image Scavenger Hunt
 

I'm proposing a second game, similar to The Trival Racing Image Game *NSFW* edition, except without the elimination element. In its place, a scoring system will be used, allowing everyone to keep playing.

Here's the proposed rules:

1. Images must, in some way, reflect the Theme as stated. Creativity in responding to the Theme is encouraged.

2. Images must be Not Safe For Work. In other words, there must be some visible nudity in the photo. The standard TFP rules for images apply (no children, no scat, etc.).

7. Speed counts. 5 points will be awarded for the first post, 4 points for the second post, 3 points for the third post, and 1 point for any post following that.

4. Quality counts. There will be additional points available at the whim of the Theme Poster; these can either be predeclared in the original Statement of Theme, or granted for exceptional quality or creativity.

11. Repetition is not allowed. Posting a second image from a photo shoot that was already posted in that round is not finding a new photo, it is just copying. However, recycling an image that was used in a previous round for a different purpose is acceptable and amusing

5. Only one picture posted per person per round. You can go back and edit your post if you find a better image later; however, if there is an 'edit' stamp on your post, you will only receive 1 "speed" point, even if your original post was within the first 3 posts.

3. The duration of each round will be arbitrary, but must be a minimum of 24 hours.

6. The "first poster" in the current round (noting Rule 5) will choose the Theme for the next round after the current round is closed and the point totals are posted. Please post both a description of the theme and an example photo.

9. No pictures from Tilted Exhibition are permitted.

10. Taking photos specifically to match the theme is strongly discouraged; this is a scavenger hunt.

12. Jump on in! It isn't too late to join the Scavenger Hunt, even though some people have already scored points.

TIP: Don't direct link to images, they will often be 'rexed' when other people view them. Use one of the tools on the ImageShack tools page; for instance, the Firefox extension allows you to right-click an image and upload it automatically to ImageShack, even without an account. After posting your image, you can force a full reload of all images with most browsers by typing Ctrl-F5.


I plan to start the first round tomorrow, after people have an opportunity to comment on the rules.

Interesting, I hadn't considered drawings when establishing the rules. Obviously, drawings will be accepted for this round. What do you guys think, should we change the rules for future rounds? I'm inclined to require photographs, but I'll leave it up to discussion.

It is kind of subjective.

When we are talking about NSFW we are asking for something that is really in the spirit of NSFW like this:

Actually, Sticky, I think all of your examples qualify as NSFW, since I can't put a reproduction of Michaelangelo's David in my office. You seem to be making the distinction between 'art' and 'porn', and I would consider either to qualify for the scavenger hunt.

Anyone else want to weigh in on "photos versus drawings" (and whether a photo of a tattoo (which is a drawing of a photo)) should be part of this game?

Either way it is fine with me.
like I said, it is probably best if it is left up to the person requesting the image. He should specify if he does not want a drawing. If he does not specify then anything NSFW should qualify.

I protest... it's the same image. It was just cropped to remove an unexpected infant that was included with my original image.

Well, yes, but Fremen posted his image correctly after your rex, but before you corrected it. I never saw the original, I only saw an empty post (Firefox doesn't replace broken images with icons, they just don't show up). In crafting the rule, I considered trying to recalculate the posting order based on the final image modification time, but I finally decided to just say rexing means you place after the first three.

I'm sure you will catch up quickly. :D Never thought you'd fall prey to the rexing rule, I'll admit.

I saw the rex but I was too busy to take the time to fix it... Then I forgot until someone pointed out the content of the image.

Here are the points for Round 2:
- Redlemon - 5 points for being the first poster and 5 extra points for having the NSFW image on the label of the beer for a totla of 10 points this round.
- Apmle - 4 points - At first I was thinking "hey there is no beer in that picture" after a few looks I found it.
- Charlatan - 3 points (I think I posted a thread in Wayside with a series of these pics)
- cybermike - 2 points - Action pic? I would have given you exttra points if it was an animated gif. I was considering taking away points for unoriginality but I figured I will leave it. (note: I am not setting a precedent).
- fremen - 1 point - nice coffee, or should I say beer, table. Where can I get one of those? Also, do you know if it comes in red? I have red accents in my living room.

The theme is a television on in the background, with live nude people elsewhere in the photograph. (I don't have the time to find an example right now).

+1 bonus point if there is also nudity on the television screen
+1 bonus point if the nude person/people on the television are the same people who are nude in the room

Computer monitors, camcorder viewscreens, or similar items do not count.

No problem Mondak. You just start at zero points, but you can always catch up (I'll add a Rule up top to clarify that). However, that image doesn't work for this content; the television screen is off. You still have time to change your image before the round ends.

Yeah -The thing that led me to believe it was her was that in one of the pictures you can get a good look at the patern on the couch. Then in another you can see that pattern pretty clearly on the tv.

Also the window panes look like the same room. Finally, it just looks like it is her when you see all the shots of her.

Round 4: Painting

The theme is painting, the person doing the actual painting must be nude, or be standing in front of art nude. If its a photo of a person using a nude model while painting, doesn’t count. If its a person wearing paint on their body, that doesn't count either. If it is a person creating a sculpture in the nude is acceptable too.

+1 bonus point if there is nudity in the art
+1 bonus point if the nude person on the art is them

Hey, was mine good enough to count? He's naked, but not all that visible. Details on his work here: Penis artist's work shocks father - The Other Side - Breaking News 24/7 - NEWS.com.au. It's OK if I have to search again, but his methods were too good to pass up.

Ill count it plus one bonus point, since what she is painting is nude. I just didnt want to see women walking around with painted nips or some model wearing a painted on sports jersey. Those are to easy to find.

Round 5: Product Placement

The theme is product placement. I want to see a brand-name product intentionally in the picture. Simple presence in the background will not be sufficient. Also, actual professional advertisements are discouraged. Please state the category of product as well.

I'll clarify further if necessary. I will also suspend the 'rexing' rule at my discretion, if the product placement is "close-but-not-quite".

Additionally, each category of product can only be used once in the round. I have claimed "sports drinks", I don't think that will cause too much issue for anyone else. :D

There is a secret product category that will receive 2 bonus points. You will just have to trust me on that.

This will be a long round, as I usually don't TFP on weekends.

SPECIAL NOTE: Do not use Photobucket to post your images. I think they are monitoring incoming hits from TFP. Even though I hadn't posted a nude from them in here, I had 'set aside' this example image in Photobucket, and they deleted it. Imageshack seems fine so far.

Bandanas are not a name-brand product, right? I don't think those are logos or anything. Note that Apmle posted 'Calvin Klein' immediately above you, as the brand name within the 'clothing' category, so even if that was a brand name, 'clothing' is already claimed.
