add teh dry ing. one half at a time and mix well

cover with wax paper and let chill for 30 - 45 min (untill firm)

shape teh dough into one inch balls -place remaining sugar in small bowl and roll teh balls in it then place them 2 inches apart om the cookies sheets and bake

That recipe sounds great. I would love the directions for carmalizing those apples too if you have the time. :) mmmm....

slice some tart apples (granny smith works best)
get rid of the core and seeds

take like 1 cup of sugar in a small saucepan and heat over low/med stirring constantly ..itll start to clump (DONT ADD WATER)..keep stirring and itll start to melt ..keep on stirring till its light gold...keep it up till its dark/med gold..add some cinnamon ..then dunk the apple slices in quickly..so half is dunked and teh other part has nothing...let them cool and sprinkle (the plain apple halves of teh slices) with some vanilla or rum or brandy..yummm

its all crisp and caramely and slightly spicy

enjoy
