Mothers Day Breakfast Suggestions?
Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you had any good ideas for what one could whip up for your mum/mom on Mothers Day which co-incidentally is this Sunday in New Zealand. I want to make something special so toast and eggs is out of the question but I don't want to make something too grand either since she's a light breakfast eater.
So if you have any ideas I'd be more than happy to hear them out! Thanks in advance! -Me |
Im getting up early and cooking my mother belgium waffels with bacon, whipcream and strawberrys along with hillhouse choclates (the best you can buy locally) Now I just need to decide on dinner.

Just go all out, man. You know what she loves best. Make lots of it. If you don't know, just make everything you can think of. She's your mum, after all ;)

Hey just a couple of treads down is one from Jadzidax.
Blueberry stuffed french toast. It's simple sounds terrific. Just start it the night before. That's what my wife and daughter are dinning on for breakfast. I don't think you can go wrong with this one. |
You can never ever go wrong with Eggs Benny and a Mimosa to wash it down.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I've decided to go with Italian Scrambled Eggs (normal scrambled eggs but with spring onions, tomatoes, herbs like rosemary, kinda like an omelette... only scrambled ;)) and pancakes/pikelets with cream and strawberry jam.
And to wash it all down: a nice cup of Cha (Indian Tea). Then I'll shower her with hugs and kisses and then give her her mothers day gift! |
