Easy Recipes for a novice baker

While I *love* the smell of all things baking, I am not very good at it, nor do I have a lot of time in which I can do it. But, I have this recipe from Nestle Toll House that my entire family goes crazy over. I thought I'd share it with all of you as I prepare to bake them today Maybe other people can post their own simple, quick recipes so I can find other things to bake to wow the family.

I will post a picture of it when it's done.

Ingredients:
  • 2 unbaked frozen deep dish 9 inch pie shells - thawed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 sticks butter, softened
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • walnuts *optional*

Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 325F
  • Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy
  • Beat in flour, sugar and brown sugar
  • Beat in butter
  • Stir in chocolate chips
  • Spoon into pie shells
  • Place on cookie sheet - this is important!
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes

Before:

After (one will be frosted with chocolate frosting after they cool down):

dang! i saw this and forgot my engrish.

I was like, easy food? shoot, let me post my dinner. was easy.

but not cook, but bake is what you wanted.

man, I dont know, call me easy but for baking, i love me some basic "pound cake" with milk! haha

that is as "sweet" as my sweet tooth would go. so your pictures look good but it woudl be too sweet for me.

even then, I will ONLY eat something with milk.
