Cheesecake Ball
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1/4 cup unsifted powdered sugar 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup fruit preserves Combine the cheese, sugar & vanilla in a bowl, stirring well. Form into a ball on a small serving plate. Cover and refrigerate. When ready to serve, in a sauce pan, heat the preserves until pourable. Pour over the ball and serve with wheat crackers, Triscuits or the like. Now the fun part... The preserves you use can vary depending on the holiday your serving for. Like using strawberry preserves and a garnish of fresh mint for Christmas. Or, blueberry on half and strawberry on the opposite half for the 4th of July. You get the idea... |

I've had this before!
This sounds not good. And if you don't spend time decorating the thing, it won't look too good either. But its really really good. Someone brought one to the Christmas party and we couldn't stop eating it. Thanks for the recipe. |
