Posole Recipe Request - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

While working at one of my previous jobs, one of the workers brought us the most delicious posole I have ever tasted. I have not had anything so good since then. I love posole in general but I do not eat it very often as most places do not serve it. I would like to find a good recipe and instead of searching all the random recipes online, I was wondering if anyone has one that they KNOW is good.

What I am looking for:

Shredded beef (preferably)
In a red sauce
Uses hominy (I have seen recipes that do not call for hominy and this makes me sad)

So, can anyone help a girl out?

My mother makes a pretty good version fitting that description, i'll see if i can get it for you, it doesn't exactly have a consistent recipe though.

Sweet! Thanks, I would love to have a traditional recipe. And don't worry about an exact recipe, I am pretty good at improvising and I don't ever really follow exact recipes anyway.
