What are your "default" brands of drink
For each type of drink which you have one, whats your favourite brand, or the default brand you will always buy if available?
Mine: Dark Rum - Lambs Navy Rum Gin - Blackfriars London Gin Vodka - Finlandia Whisky - Ardberg Lager - Kronenbourg 1664 Bitter - Wells Bombardier |
Vodka LUKSUSOWA, This is a Potato vodka not grain.
I like it better than any of the premium vodkas, and it is not expensive. |
beer - sam adams
pop/soda - coca-cola |
Izze for sparkling fruit juice, particularly blackberry. I drank Coke Blak for a while. Oh, and I like Dos Equis lager.

:::stands before all of you and smiles sideways with SUCH a knowing smile::::
oh no no no, this lady must never let alcohol touch these sweet lips again. Last time they did, I was caught, swung over shoulders, after I had ran through 200 acres of woods in the mountains of new england, shoeless, naked from the top up, screeching and howling under the fullness of the moon, like a fisher cat. All the way home I clawed the back and ripped at the hair of the rescuer who brought me home and threw me in bed and held me down until I fell asleep... and no, this was NOT Sexual play. it was unfortunate. but if you drink, I will lick your mouth and let you lick me all over.... |
Smirnoff Ice Anything ... I like all flavors except cherry, which is a universal flavor that I dislike.
Also: tasineah ... we HAVE to party some time!! |
hmmmm..you and 6....party of 3 so far....
in all seriousness...:::flashing eyes::: I am honored by your words.. |
Xerxys, every time I read about your preferences in drink, I despair.
Bourbon: Maker's Mark Vodka: Stoli or Absolut, whichever's on sale, I'm not a vodka snob Rum: Bacardi (also not a rum snob) Canadian whiskey: Pendleton Gin: Bombay Sapphire or Bendistillery - Crater Lake Vodka, Traditional Handcrafted Distilled Spirits, Private Label Vodka 's Desert Juniper Blended Scotch: Dewars Beer: Deschutes if in Oregon, Heineken on airplanes and in airports, whatever's local most everywhere else Wine: Charles Shaw, duh |
^^Don't you DARE Judge me!!
I drink Heineken when there is nothing around, and even then only when it's cold. I recently tried Yuengling (pronounced Ying-ling) at Mojoes and found it OK-ish ... until it became warm then it just became bitter. I also like the bacardi breesers and the Jack Daniels flavored drinks. I think they're cocktails. Other than that, I can't stand straight up liquor or other beers. Alcohol just sucks. |
Rum, warm, in a glass. A glass of ice water (or beer) on the side.
Rum and coke if I just feel like something to sip on. I rarely drink beer unless it's good (or free). Miller high life is my go-to cheap beer. When I'm sitting at home, John Daly or a glass of red wine in the winter. |
The only things I'm particular about are rum and beer. The rum is always Captain Morgan. The beer is nearly always Smithwick's if it's available...unfortunately, I have yet to see a bar in NC that offers it. Basically, the darkest beer on tap is what I'm getting, in the Land of Bud Light.
Oh, and on the rare occasions that I drink whiskey, it's gotta be Jack. Non-alcohol-wise, I always choose Coke over Pepsi. |
Vodka- Stoli
Rum- Appleton Estates Amaretto- Disaronno this is the only one where I am a stickler... pretty much every other amaretto is shit. |
Beer: Rolling Rock
Vodka: Reyka Rum: Bacardi Soda: Dr Pepper |
I don't drink like I used too, thankfully, but when I do..........
Tequila, I've never met one I don't like. Sauza Hornitos- My go-to. Patron XO Cafe- Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Cazadores- Nice woody mescal flavor. Rum, doesn't matter, it all tastes like lighter fluid to me. Vodka, like them all. Belvedere is my go-to Whiskey's, that's a complex issue. I prefer Kentucky Bourbons, but I learned to drink whiskey with Ohio Jugaloo's, so Jim Beam was king of the heap there. Disaronno, just plain good. Sheffield Port, cheap and tasty. Hot Damn, I forget who makes it. Cinnamon Schnaps, I think it's DeKuyper. Then of course there has to be something to go in the coffee on those cold winter days. Bailey's Irish cream, Kahlua, Drambuie, and Frangelico. Actually, Frangelico is damn good with just an ice cube too. Beer should be dark and the darker it is, the warmer it should be. EKU- an Austrian brewer that works magic on barley and hops. Guinness- since most bars have it and have never heard of EKU Kokanee- it's not dark but it's cheap and it's not Natty Ice. ---------- Post added at 01:08 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:02 AM ---------- Quote:
Have you ever lived at Lake Powell??? I'm just askin'. That was a fairly common experience down there. Group of people standing around drinking: "Hey, what was that?" "That was just Traci streaking by" "Okay, should we do something?" "No, we'll get there soon enough, she started early." |
Beer - Whatever I happen to see first...If I'm in a bar and don't feel like asking whats on tap I guess Bud.
Tennessee Whiskey - Jack Daniels Kentucky Bourbon - Wild Turkey 101 Wine - Mad Dogg 20/20 (It just takes me back what can I say) But I'm not really that picky ('cept for the MD) Usually I just grab what I grab out of habit as much as anything else. |
Beer: Guiness, Sam Adams, Fat Tire, depending on mood.
Scotch: Glenmorangie, Glenlivet, MacCallan (in that order) Bourbon: Maker's Mark Irish: Jameson's. Vodka: Grey Goose Wine: way too many choices to list, but I like Zin's, Pinot's, Merlot's and Cabs. |
Grey Goose
Makers Mark or Woodford Reserve Heineken Premium Light |
Rum: Sailor Jerry
Everything else is of no importance. |
There's three types of booze I'm picky about, cause I've tested them out the most. The others, I'm still testing out.
Vodka: Grey Goose (Shots of this stuff is glorious. Smoothest vodka around) Gin: Bombay Sapphire (best gin around!) Rum: Appleton Estates (my god this rum is magnificent) |
I am not all that picky but when given a chice:
Beer: Guinness (draught only) Gin: Sapphire, 10 or hendrick's Otherwise, if it's wet... |
:)Laphroaig Scotch. Or Teachers. On the rocks or neat.
Gordon's Gin. With tonic, or a Martini, not too dry. Sam Adams beer, but I'm not fussy about beer. Don't drink wine very much. Bourbon tastes like paint thinner to me. I'm not a big alcohol drinker. If I don't like what's available, I'll drink straight club soda, OJ, or diet Coke.:) Prefer Coke (diet w/ lime) over Pepsi. I like the Coke imported from Mexico, made with cane sugar instead of HFCS. I like the fruity sodas. DietRite Tangerine, Canada Dry diet ginger ale,:) or Canada Dry diet tonic water, hold the gin. 2% milk over ice.:) Perrier. Peligrino. Lindy |
am i a boring sod if i said i only drink water?
