Hey, everyone. I haven't been on in a while but I need some help. I have entered a chicken wing competition this weekend and was wondering if anyone had a killer wing recipe. I have a pretty good idea of what I'm cooking up, but if someone can drop a killer idea on me, I would be proud to enter it...

any ideas on taste? weak? tasteless? hot? suicide? haha. I'm kidding. But seriously, are you trying anything special? are you cooking your own?

My basic recipe was: sprinkle with seasoning(if needed), put in oil until golden, apply sauce as needed then put in oven at 400º for 10min. apply more sauce and serve. sauce is always something I made on the spot with random ingredients. but I use Dave's insanity Sauce as the "hot" ingredient. This is the kind of thing where 1 drop is enough. 2 is too much. I usually put about 5-10 drops per batch of wings and they are perfect.

Thanks for the idea. I go with the bbq. I am going to start marinating in olive oil and spices. bbq w/o the sauce. the sauce is a chipotle,vinegar,habenero, honey,cilantro,garlic,mango,pineapple creation. I usually make this sauce and its a crowd fav but its the 1st time with the pineapple.

I knew someone who used to fry wings in peanut oil and Durkees Hot Sauce. He had a propane fired wok and it made bunches at time. He added the hot sauce to the oil when frying them. As good as any I've had.
