I like cold pizza and spaghetti - Especially with the spaghetti, I'll just it cold and by itself. I have no idea why.

I like to mix salsa into my tuna fish. Skip the mayo. Scoop with tortilla chips.

So apparently it's a very Dutch thing to mix your food together. I grew up watching my dad mix things together on his plate. For instance, if he has your typical two-egg breakfast, he slices the bacon up, mixes it with his cut-up over-easy egg, and then mixes the whole thing with the breakfast potatoes. If dinner was pork, potatoes, applesauce, and a vegetable, all four would end up mixed up together. He still makes boiled potatoes to go with his canned peas often; he mushes together the potatoes and peas and tops them with gravy (yuck, if only because of the canned peas, which are an abomination). My favorite mixture is to combine mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, a little gravy, and applesauce. I keep a box of good quality instant mashed potatoes (odd but true, they exist--look at the natural food store for potato flakes that are just potato flakes) on hand to make this faster, and making stuffing is quick too. Since my SO is veggie, we use a powdered veggie gravy mix that is very tasty and quick to make. Then the corn goes on, then the applesauce, and it all gets slowly mixed together, because I always want a bite of potato-stuffing-gravy-corn-applesauce. My SO thinks it's so gross. I think it's delicious. And sometimes I like to eat cheesewiches, which are bread, Best Foods mayonnaise (don't be skimpy), Gulden's brown mustard, and thinly sliced Tillamook cheddar on whole-wheat. They are mostly an excuse to eat mayonnaise. |

I absolutely cannot eat scrambled eggs without ketchup. I also put ketchup on macaroni and cheese and fish sticks, though that is not necessary.
Yeah. Mrs. O'Rights has expresly forbidden me from ever ordering scrambled eggs in public. The first time that she ever saw me doing it she thought that I was doing it just to gross her out. Nope, says I, that's how I roll. We've been married for...let's see...well, quite a few years now, and she still has not gotten used to the idea of ketchup on scrambled eggs. |

I like to eat grilled steak cold (the extra one that's left over from the grill last night and stored in the 'fridge for later).

I like scrapple. People react negatively to it, I think mostly because of the name. It's the same as sausage basically, except mixed with corn meal. Generally speaking, it's so much lower in fat that it's more difficult to fry. So short order cooks sometimes serve up mushy scrapple which can turn people off.

I was raised by a good Polish cook. Now, I don't know if this is something gramma started on her own, or if it's some sort of traditional Polish thing that's been handed down to the cooks in the family, but baked pig skin is some goooood eatin'. :thumbsup:

I pop a large batch of popcorn in a soup-stock size kettle.
As the days go by it becomes better tasting, chewier and more flavourful. It is not stale popcorn. It is aged & cured, to perfection. |

I have some odd habits... some that I've turned other people onto and some not. --Grilled cheese (cheddar ONLY, thank you) with pickles inside, dipped in ketchup. --Rice cakes with natural peanut butter and sliced strawberries. really strange flavor. --Bagels dipped in ketchup --Can't ever leave the taste of sweet in my mouth. Hence, I used to eat my salad after dessert as a teenager. Or pickles after dessert to kill the sweet taste. --Popcorn with natural peanut butter, fat-free ranch dip or parmesan cheese. --Straight up vinegar and ground pepper with a little sugar as salad dresing. --Lemonade and vanilla vodka. I'm having trouble remembering more of them, but I guess maybe I'm getting less gross? |

Ketchup on my eggs too, but I've started putting salsa on it!
I mix tuna with salsa, and maybe a little ranch dressing Ketchup with peas or mixed veggies. Sounds gross, but oh soo good! Tuna and mac and cheese! People tell me this is strange, good to me... My wife and kids do the fries and shake thingy. |
There are very few cheeses I will eat 'raw.'
Normally they need to be melted on something. Like American cheese disgusts me on it's own. But it's great on a burger. |
