I guess this should go here. Heading down to Raleigh, NC for a business trip and want to check out some of the best places for que.

Any suggesstions?

Can you be less specific?

Sorry. It's just that NC's a big place. If you have a couple hours to kill and you're in Charlotte, recommending a great barbecue place in Raleigh isn't going to do you much good.

I am headed in Raliegh. "The Barbeque Joint" was on Rachel Ray's show last night, any good?

Clyde coopers
Wilbers
Bullocks

but i haven't been to raleigh in a while..

rachel ray has picked other restaurants that ive been at and i really wodnered what the hell she raved about.. the service and food in some of the places she's been is mediocre at best.

NOt sure if they have them in NC, but I frequented a place in Columbia South Carolina called Maurice's.

Unfortunately I tended to get the beef. I heard that the pork was way better.

everyone around here swears by Wilburs.

I hate NC barbeque so I can't tell you if it's any good or not.
