Dinner time conversation with friends revolved around the sexual orientation of the Extreme Home Makeover host. Speculations were discussed, but no conclusions reached.

Can anyone shed light on this dire matter???

I thought he had a live in girlfriend, or was maybe engaged? I remember something to that effect when I was working for Oprah and he was on...

imdb.com has this as part of his bio:

"Appeared on the cover of Sassy Magazine with his then-girlfriend, fellow model "K. Ring" way back in the 90s."

I agree that this thread could have easily been placed in nonsense, because it is in essence that, but I put it here just to see if I could find an answer.

Let's not make it a gay rights thread. I just wanted to know if anyone could direct me towards an answer to put some closure on a discussion I had. So far I'll have to accept Derwood's response as the best answer for now...

Back when Ty was on the TLC show Trading Spaces as a carpenter, my girlfriend was a huge fan of his. So just to ruffle her feathers a bit, I went onto the bio portion of the Trading Spaces website and altered an article from the Asian designer on the show to subtely suggest a relationship between him and Ty. After saving it as a web page, I showed it to her. And because the page looked exactly like the real site, she had no clue and was shocked by the "revelation." I didn't tell the truth for about a week, and I laughed my ass off the whole time.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Seriously, why do I care? And can you please make that godawful racket about the "Greys Anatomy" actors die down? It's a decent show, but I really couldn't care any less about whether anyone's gay or if anyone got called a fag. Can't we go back to the Hollywood where everyone was in the closet and had madcap wife-swapping and sex romps?
