Survivor 11: Guatemala

Just wanted to give my fellow survivor fans a heads up that the new cast is up on the CBS website and they new season is starting September 15th!!

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor11/

I havent read all the info yet so I have comments on the new players..other than they all appear to be white

Catdaddy33 08-15-2005 11:21 AM

Thanks! I was wondering when that would go up...

I never thought I could watch Survivor in reruns, but OLN just finished showing the 1st season last week and start Outback today, and cool to watch even if you know who will get the boot.

ShaniFaye 08-15-2005 11:21 AM

I've been trying to figure out if I have OLN

the_marq 08-15-2005 12:20 PM

I think this will be the last season of Survivor I'm going to watch, unless major changes are made to the game. I've lost interest in the 3 player types: Challenge Dominator; Under the Radar; Coattail Rider

Something needs to be done to shake up the the dynamic.

spongy 08-15-2005 05:57 PM

What do you think of having the teams change a player or two each episode.. IE you vote someone off, then a player is randomly picked to go to the other team?

Catdaddy33 08-16-2005 04:19 AM

I didn't know it existed until they started advertising Survivor on other cable channels. Its buried toward the end of our channel lineup...

ShaniFaye 08-16-2005 04:55 AM

I found it!! Its channel 151 on dish network so I got to start watching Australia last nite!! This was the series I started with, but I didnt start watching until weeks into it...Its nice to see it from the beginning. (I have the first season on DVD)

Derwood 08-16-2005 05:20 AM

Wow, they sure are all white! Never seen that before. I'm sure that will raise the ire of the anti-reality show pundits.

edit: Lydia Morales is Hispanic

Locke7 08-16-2005 11:22 AM

Can't wait, I always look forward to a new season of Survivor. The bios were interesting. 2 ivy league students. A hotel doorman, and a magician's assistant. Should be interesting.

Daoust 08-16-2005 11:28 AM

I can guarantee that unless Survivor is up against Lost, which it isn't, I know, I'll be watching it religiously. No real hotties this year. And the guys are even uglier than the girls... isn't that always the way...

*Nikki* 08-16-2005 12:54 PM

I disagree Daoust I see plenty of goodlooking people there!!

grendel 08-16-2005 04:57 PM

Gary Hogeboom??? haven't heard that name in a while...

Yeah, when I read it I thought it sounded familiar, then I read 'Ex-NFL', and thought, "He's one of my former football heroes!"
I would pretend to be him, among other football stars, while playing backyard football as a kid. :D

Hope he still handles himself well.

They need to do a Sports Survivor.

Catdaddy33 08-17-2005 03:06 AM

What team did he play for? Was it the Cowboys?

Gilda 08-17-2005 04:38 AM

All white, 12 of the sixteen under 40, and only one person over 50. This is a bit disappointing. They seem to have given up even putting up any pretense of trying to balance it and packed it with good looking young people.

And yes, I see that as a bad thing. I've got an internet connection. I can see good looking young people anytime I want. I want clashing personalities and a mixture of ethnicities and ages. This isn't well, whatever those MTV shows that I never watch that star 20 somethings are called.

I'll be watching and all, but this better not just be a case of stacking the deck with eye candy.

yeah, that's where he started. i think he played with them for a half a dozen seasons or so and then moved on for a year or two for a couple of other teams (i'm thinking the Colts were one of them?)...

Fremen 08-17-2005 09:02 AM

Yup, the Cowboys were where I knew Hogeboom from. He, Roger Staubach, and Danny White were the quarterbacks I grew up admiring.

As to the lack of diversity of this season's cast, I'm in agreement with y'all, in that they need to get back to the old formula of young, old, various sexual preferences, different ethnicities, and best of all, the weirdos.
But all we can do is protest with our remote controls.

I'll be watching for now, anyway. :)

Catdaddy33 08-17-2005 11:23 AM

I agree, too young, too little diversity...

Been watching the OLN reruns and when you look at the difference between the "rugged-looking" Season 1 cast and the Season 2 "beautiful people" cast.

I like Survivor mainly for the personality clashes, as long as they don't get 16 boring folks on, I'll watch. I was certain the last one would suck, but turned out to really good.

I would like to see them do other places besides the tropical isle setting. They did Outback, Africa and Amazon, but all the latest have been island..

ShaniFaye 08-17-2005 02:04 PM

I like the fact that these people have to live in the myan (sp?) ruins!!!

Catdaddy33 08-18-2005 03:11 AM

Oh that's right...they are living around the ruins. That's gotta be awesome...

As I posted before, there is one Hispanic woman.

But I see your point. Perhaps they decided against the "token black person" formula and just picked the 16 best applicants. Or maybe they are mixing up the game in such a way that these particular people best fit? Who knows.....the black folks never make it far anyways (the man keeping them down!)

ShaniFaye 08-18-2005 05:32 AM

Well Vecepia was black and she won season four

A white Hispanic woman. Hispanic designates that the language spoken in one's culture of origin is Spanish. Hispanics can be of any color, white, black, Asian. There are several thousand Japanese Hispanics living in Texas, descendants of Japanese foreign nationals kidnapped from Latin American countries and brought to internment in Texas during World War 2.

The only thing that makes an applicant one of the 16 best is that the producers choose them. This isn't a meritocracy where you can be better qualified than your neighbor by getting better grades or doing better on a test. "Best qualified" is whatever the producers decide it is. Apperantly for this season, that means white and young.

I agree tokenism is a bad idea. So why have one black guy and one black woman? Why not have three or four black people and a couple of Asians, an even mix of young, middle-aged, and old? The producers actively choose thier contestants. I'd like to see more diversity than a bunch of white 20 somethings. This coming from a white 20 something.

What I'm getting bored with is the tropical islands. Give us some variety already. Put it in a dense northern forest, or an Alaskan island, or another semi-arid plain or a desert.

Still, I'll be watching.

Gilda

Fremen 08-18-2005 02:30 PM

I'd like to see them in the Rockies, or some other mountain range in America.

Derwood 08-18-2005 07:37 PM

8 contestants in their 20's
8 contestants 30 or over

So an even split, though few are over 40

Yes, an even split at 30. Since all the contestants are adults, that means that fully half the contestants are taken from the first decade of adulthood, and half from the remaining five decades of an average person's life.

Early series tended to have a few young adults (20-40) a few middle-aged (40-60) and two or three elderly (60+). This group has 12 young adults, 3 middle-aged, and one elderly. It's skewing significantly younger, and it seems to be for the purpose of showing off more eye candy. No doubt that's what they think will attract viewers. I'd just like to see a bit more variety.

Gilda

Catdaddy33 08-19-2005 03:10 AM

I think they should put them in Northern Canada or Greenland..somewhere fairly cold, but I figure CBS doesn't want them all covered up...

The older players usually do ok, hell Rudy and Rodger (seasons 1&2) both made it far..

There are probably more safety concerns in cold weather than in warm. Heat Stroke vs. Frostbite, etc.

Catdaddy33 08-19-2005 08:00 PM

True, but I was thinking like during the warm months....

And Paschal, the only Survivor never to have a single vote cast against him.

wraithhibn 08-25-2005 03:01 PM

Cindy, the twin, is from my small ass hometown in Eastern KY. Like myself, she got the hell out and now lives in Florida. The show hasnt started and shes already a local celeb because of the local newspaper. Once the show gets started she will probably become a hero like "Kentucky Joe".

Hello, new here.. so be gentle *snicker*...

I now need a new reality show alongside Aussie Idol .. so bring on Survivor.. !

I thought there was going to be an all stars Survivor which would include none other than Rupert (RROOOOAAARRR!!!).. that would have been excellent. Maybe it clashed with Amber and Rob competing on the Amazing race huh...

Welcome to the TFP, and to the thread.

There was a Survivors: All-stars season, Season 8 I believe, and Rupert was a big player in it.
I would hazard a guess they didn't air it down there.
Maybe they will in the future.

Here's a link to a bunch of sites about the season.

ShaniFaye 08-27-2005 04:45 PM

there was an all stars....thats where Rob and Amber met and among other things they would do..they did the Amazing Race

you mean like in battle royale? hahaha! fuck ya! i want to see that. it's still the most interesting idea for a tv show ever.

and i want to see a real TVshow with REAL ppl(i mean that they know how to make fires, hunt for fish, and not just sit on the fucking beach)... plus it would be sweeeet to see a northen survivor. i camped for weeks at a time and it's possible. the water is almost always clean (or just boil to clean like usual) and theres PLENTy of animals to catch... etc... if i still watched tv, i'd write a note to the survivor ppl...

I foten wonder if the main thing they look for on Survivor is the inabilty to light a fire.

Survivor Spoilers

Warning: This site will tell you in advance who is going to get booted, win reward etc... etc... you have been warned.

Edit: Link removed, look down 5 or 6 posts to see why.

So far the only spoiler is the two "Surprise Guests" definately not who I would have expected.

ShaniFaye 09-13-2005 05:21 AM

ok...so who are your guesses for the surprise "past" survivors that are joining them? I think its rob and amber...the outlines of the people clearly show a man and a woman and they guy def dont look like rupert.....

Derwood 09-13-2005 05:35 AM

Yikes, I'm going to stop looking at this thread if it's going to involve spoilers. I HATE it when people publish the results of Survivor before it airs. What the hell is the fun in that?

ShaniFaye 09-13-2005 08:26 AM

huh? I didnt post anything other than what was on the TV commerical last nite

the_marq 09-13-2005 08:38 AM

Yeah I didn't intend to spoil the tread Derwood. I was just posting a resource for those who may want to "read ahead." I would hope that the majority of TFP'ers would use the Spoiler: Spoiler tags where nessecary, guesses like Shani's don't need to be hidden (cause she's wrong)

Derwood 09-13-2005 12:10 PM

i know you didn't, i'm just saying that once people post a resource like that, accidents will happen. unfortunately, i've see the spoiler tag not used when it should have been in other threads :|

the_marq 09-13-2005 01:44 PM

Derwood makes a good point, I have removed my link to the spoiler site from my earlier post. If anyone really wants to know who is about to get booted off Survivor or whatever, you can google it pretty easily (or you can PM me I guess.)

But let me reiterate.... mark your spoilers

Derwood 09-13-2005 02:58 PM

Thanks. Usually the lack of spoilers happens in some "favorite movie ending" thread or what have you where people just blurt out the ends of movies I haven't seen. I tend to steer clear of those these days

ShaniFaye 09-15-2005 04:59 PM

so.......what did everybody think?

I thought Jeff looked sexy as always  (I dont wanna say much else yet since not everybody has seen it)

I will say that one tribe seems to be full of men that are...well...um subject to dehydration

Fremen 09-15-2005 06:40 PM

Remember your spoiler tags, folks.
Pretty interesting start.

How many thousands of years ago was the Mayan empire, anyway?
Jeff kept saying thousands, like it was more than a couple.

Spoiler: Too bad about Jim. He seemed like a good guy. That's a harsh way to get voted off.

fresnelly 09-15-2005 07:17 PM

The players seem like a pretty down to earth bunch; not the overabundance of bikini models and LA bartenders you see on other reality shows. I like them and it looks like i'll continue to tune in.

The Mayans had their heyday around the time of Christ and were in serious decline by the end of the first millenuim. The Mayan culture still exists in some forms to this day... but the "Empire" was over around 1500yrs ago.

As for today's results Spoiler: If you get injured, you're done. Tough luck Jim. I couldn't stop laffing when BoobyJon's eyes were rolling back.

Catdaddy33 09-16-2005 04:50 AM

I liked it.. no one stands out as being a real asshole. The mystery survivors were a nice touch, interesting to see how that goes. The fact no one has (yet) recognized Gary as ex-NFL QB, should be an interesting twist if/when it comes out.

Catdaddy33 09-16-2005 04:51 AM

Oh..whats the rule on spoiler tags? How long after the episode can we post without them?

Derwood 09-16-2005 05:52 AM

I'm glad you asked this. Firstly, no one should post ANYTHING, spoiler tag or not, until at least midnight Eastern Time after the show. The reason? The West Coast sees the show at 8pm PDT, or at 11pm EDT, so early posts could ruin the show for them.

As for how long with the tag after that, I don't know. Our non-US TFPers don't get the show until weeks or months after we do, so I guess it's up to them.

I enjoyed the show last night. Spoiler: For the first time since the Amazon (and Africa before that), I genuinely felt that the environment was providing a hardship on the castaways. They always paid lipservice to the bugs and heat and stuff before, but besides being tired, those tribes didn't seem to suffer too much. Here, there were several people whom the producers had to seriously think about stepping in and providing medical assistance for (and who knows, maybe they did when the cameras were off). If these physical hardships continue, it will be a lot less about petty squabbling and high school back stabbing and more about true survival. Last night they showed zero strategizing prior to the first vote, simply because the campsite resembled a triage more than a gameshow.

Daoust 09-16-2005 07:21 AM

I'm also glad that the environment is actually an obstacle as opposed to a place of healing and serenity.

I hope there's more nudity as the show progresses. Some okay looking women out there including SWEET SWEET STEPHENIE. I am glad she finally won immunity!

Bobby Jon was looking pretty pathetic last night, I gotta say!

Derwood 09-16-2005 08:32 AM

So what part of the spoiler tag do you not understand?

Daval 09-16-2005 11:25 AM

Personally, my take on the whole spoiler thing - and what we've kinda done in seasons past - is, that anything that has appeared on TV is fair game to write about. Anything that you've read on the internet and has not been confirmed on TV is a spoiler.

The West Coast people need to steer clear of this thread for the 3 hour difference that we have seen the show and they havnt. That seems only fair.

As discussion heats up on this thread it will be nearly impossible to make a post without 'spoiling' things that have been on TV.

Everyone agree?

ShaniFaye 09-16-2005 01:17 PM

Thanks Daval....I was seriously thinking about having to bow out of the thread because it seemed the rules were changing...so yes I agree....IF for some reason I had to miss an episode I came here for an update to see what I missed first even before going to the CBS website

Daval 09-16-2005 04:27 PM

BTW, I was thrilled that Steph and Bobby-Jon are back, I really liked both from Palau. I'm rooting for Steph the whole time now.

What a gruelling hike! I felt bad the old guy got voted out as well, but he was the most logical candidate - the other guys were dehydrated, that can be fixxed with a couple of days moderate rest, lots of fluids and food. A torn bicep will make the old guy useless for weeks.

Derwood 09-17-2005 06:37 AM

So, if what they say is true (about dangerous animals being in every body of water), will there be no swimming challenges? Will all water challenges involve boats?

Daoust 09-17-2005 08:24 AM

I only wrote about the events of Survivor because it was Friday night by that point. Whoever hasn't seen it by then... sorry. It's fair game...

If you miss the show, have it taped, and haven't seen it yet, that's not my responsibility. It's yours to not look here. Anyway, I think all of this has been adequately expressed.

spongy 09-18-2005 09:54 AM

I guess we know why all the contestants are fairly young, this looks as if it's gonna get brutal. Me likey.

PS Perhaps my favorite bit of Survivor is Jeff's hands switching from up to down when he says "Survivors ready.... GO!!" Anyone else?

simonrex22 09-29-2005 09:40 AM

Wow, the board is pretty dead. I guess we dont really know the players too well yet. Anyway, i thought it was funny when the radio dj girl from the other tribe recognized the one dude as an NFL QB. And then he denies it to his own tribe. I think this is going to come back to bite him in the arse. Probably more for denying it, not because of his physical ability. He's old and doesnt do very good in the challenges. Anyway, i was glad to see the princess go last week even though she was eye candy. I just didnt want to see the other girl go, cause she's been working so hard and she hasnt stirred up any trouble yet.

I'll be rootin for Steph all season. Hope she doesnt go early. She's going to have a big target on her head the whole time.

ShaniFaye 09-29-2005 10:40 AM

Im def rooting for Steph!!!

I didnt get to watch much of last weeks episode, so I dont know if I missed anything or not :(

I looked at the TV screen and asked "What the FUCK are you thinking?"

That guy is going to get kicked off the instant people find out they were lied to. The thing is, everyone is lying; when you do something so blatant as to lie like that, you allow people to use it as an excuse to get you off, therefore saving their skin.

That old quarterback dude better hope he is a swing vote when people find out, but even then he'll be the next to go.

Why not tell the truth? "I'm an old washed up NFL quarterback that was picked for this show to expand the over 40 male demographic..."

Mud tug-of-war was cool, but I thought that there would be more result than everyone lying down and digging in!

Catdaddy33 09-30-2005 03:21 AM

I agree, the moment Gary denied he was a ex-QB, I thought "he's screwed", especially if theres a tribal trade or a merge and he ends up on the same side as her. Yeah, he was an NFL quarterback, but he's not exactly a household name...

I gotta give that radio girl (Danni I think is her name) props for even recognizing the guy. Also for having one of the best looking and fit bodies I've seen...

Daoust 09-30-2005 03:53 AM

Yeah, that Danni's six pack is sick.

I already forget the name of that chick who got voted off last night, but she was probably the most useless contestant next to Amber Birkch (sp) on Survivor. I know you all saw her at the immunity challenge... WHAT A USELESS TIT! And then to have the gall to say I did my best. I tried my hardest????? WHAT THE FUDGE???

Poor Stephenie. Her tribe is so pathetic compared to the other one... All the guys and all the girls are completely useless. She is so hot...

the_marq 09-30-2005 05:11 AM

That had to be the easiest boot out ever last night. That girl was utterly worthless.

Derwood 09-30-2005 07:47 AM

Agreed. That was one of the most fun Immunity Challenges they've had though. The thing that keeps Survivor from getting stale is the constant creativity in the challenges. Sure, they will always have the "stand on a log forever" or "eat gross stuff" challenges, but they usually do a good job at drawing from the culture and making challenges new and unique. Cork Ball was great because it was a total team effort, and Steph's tribe lost because not everyone on the team was participating.

Locke7 09-30-2005 08:31 AM

I agree about it being a great challenge. I don't know though, that lady that rolled her ankle, and actually heard pops. Yeah she is good at hiding it when she walks, but if it is injured at all bad, good luck with any type of running.

And dang 114 degrees and they can't jump in the water. Seriously when they all jumped in from the boat, I thought one of them was going to die. Their could easily be hundreds in that lake.

Fremen 09-30-2005 09:06 PM

Watching that Corkball game was great!
Somebody needs to put a league together. I'd watch.

Catdaddy33 10-03-2005 04:08 AM

That was a great challenge....If I recall one of my history classes, corkball was an extremely violent game.

This week there will be another "Survivor First!!", seems like they have 4-5 Survivor firsts every season, but it'll make it interesting...I hope...

Daoust 10-07-2005 02:54 AM

Is it just me or did Stephenie's tribe actually get worse than it was before??? That girl has no luck at all!

Was the Survivor first the tribe switch? Cause that wasn't a first. They do that every year. Before long they'll be saying the stupid 'letters from home' will be a new twist...

Catdaddy33 10-07-2005 03:11 AM

I guess the circumstances around the switch were "a first", and it was very clever. I didn't see that coming even though I knew they were going to do that.

Poor Steph, she is a curse...

Locke7 10-07-2005 10:03 AM

About the tribe swap. I thought it was WAY too early. And I think it unbalanced the teams as well. The easy thing now would be just to stick with the old tribal lines and vote off the minority. Who knows if they will do that, but it would be an easy way out.

And also, it sure is early on in the season to just be giving them free food at the end of challenges. I wonder if they are finding it to be a more rugged environment then they thought in the planning stages of the show. You'll have to agree 115 degrees and humid every day would suck...

Daoust 11-03-2005 10:45 AM

One tribe tonight. I hope Stephenie can make it to the end. I wish Bobby Jon would have been booted last week. I don't like him.

Cimarron29414 11-03-2005 01:36 PM

Still rooting for Steph. I believe she is the best overall person to ever play the game. No alliances, no coat-tail riding. Just hard work and a good mind.

P.S. I would pay $500 to have 160 feet of cloth wrapped around the two of us - even if she hasn't showered in 3 weeks. That girl makes me feel funny - I can even forgive the Yankee accent!

Daoust 11-04-2005 04:44 AM

I salivate over any camera time spent on Steph while in a bathing suit. Even though she's looking a little emaciated and a little dirtier this time around, man she's still hot.

Too bad for Brian. I got suckered by the editing last night, although I knew he was going to be out because they spent so much camera time on him.

Jamie and Bobby Jon are going to go at it. It's going to rock. Wrestlemania in Guatemala.

You mean Brandon, not Brian.

Even though "one tribe picking off the other" is boring TV, it's smart playing

Cimarron29414 11-04-2005 12:50 PM

There is someone every season who makes me think "Damn, I have to watch that asshole for at least another hour!" This year's winner - Jamie. What a dick.

Unfortunately, it made sense. If you keep a two person lead on the other tribe, they have to sway two people for a tie - hence a conspiracy and complete breakdown in alliance. It is MUCH easier to sway just one. So, now they can make it 5 to 3 next week by booting Jamie. One can only hope.

dman2 11-05-2005 08:35 AM

Steph is a cute one. My wife thought she was the best the last time around but now can't stand her. I still think she is the one to watch. I hope she makes it to the end. It would be funny if Bobby John and her make it to the end together.

Catdaddy33 11-07-2005 04:18 AM

As much of an ass as Jamie is, he would be a good one to sit beside in the final 2.

I'm hoping the producers throw a wrench into the "split" tribe thing, otherwise the next 3 weeks are going to be boring, unless there's some dissention in the ranks...

Derwood 11-07-2005 05:36 AM

Maybe the next 3 immunity challenges will all test the players' football skills....then /gary will beat the pecking order :)

Cimarron29414 11-14-2005 07:46 AM

Damn it! Jamie for at least another hour!

dman2 Why does your wife hate Steph now?

Daval 11-18-2005 05:26 AM

Woohoo! Jamie is gone! I'M LOVIN IT!

Good episode, seeing three hot chicks covered in mud was quite pleasing :)

Poor lydia, her legs were just too damn short for that challenge.

Daoust 11-18-2005 06:50 AM

Lydia is like that Boy Scout leader chick from a couple seasons back. Useless. Easy to pick off, but they alwasy keep her around because she is a vote.

Most people are pleased that psycho Jamie is finally gone. I concur.

Isn't it funny that Rafe is emerging as a physical threat? That guy is the least physically intimidating male I've ever seen.

And, yes, Stephenie is still bangably hot.

Daval 11-21-2005 05:55 AM

The funniest thing I found about Raif is that he is a wilderness guide, yet he claimed in an earlier episode to have a poor sense of direction and gets lost often. He also doesnt seem to be that indespensible in camp.

If I was a wilderness guide and knew I was going to be on survivor, I would read up bigtime on survival in various areas, what is edible, what isnt, how to catch fish, how to trap small animals, etc. etc. Hell, I'd do all that regardless.

Cimarron29414 11-22-2005 11:55 AM

I wish I had the video of me doing "The Happy Dance" when Jamie left.

Now that IS the way you vote someone off! Imagine Bobby Jon sitting at the Losers' Lounge waiting for some company and in walks Jamie. Damn, I would have loved to see the look on his face!

Ananas 11-22-2005 07:46 PM

My dislike of Steph (despite her obvious hottieness) is her seemingly arrogant sense of entitlement. It's as though she believes she should win just because she was on a sucky team last year. Her vote for Bobby Jon, and her agreement with the comment that he already had his chance, really sealed the deal for me. Hey babe, you've already had your chance too.

She is a hot woman, but this ain't a Miss America contest.

Daval 11-25-2005 05:12 AM

This is probably one of the first episodes where they showed a bitchiness side to Steph. I still like her a lot though.

I was kinda hoping that Raif would switch sides and get Judd out. Even though I'd like to see Steph win I wouldnt have been dissapointed if they took her out either as she is the leader and that would have been a good mood.

I'll be sorry to see Danni go though, I really like her, I wish they could get her in the alliance somehow. Knock Judd out of the alliance and insert her.

Derwood 11-26-2005 05:18 AM

Gary had one of the best lines ever in Survivor at tribal council. "Everyone here is star struck by Stephanie. Well you can get her autograph after the show..."

It's just her attitude. She does think that she is the all knowing player of Survivor. I still love her. She makes the game interesting. Her attitude stems from all the bad luck she brings with her. I am not so sure that she would get the vote to win with her last outburst.

Yeah, that was funny. Funnier than that is what how he called out Judd about lying. That was the best!! Too bad he's gone. I had him picked as the winner.

I agree, but you can't count him out. He has won the last 2 or 3 challenges hasnt he? I would not be surprised to see him the final 2. Even though he has won these past couple of immunities, he does not appear to be a threat at all. He is going to squeak his way into the final 2 I bet.

YES. The Survivor shower scenes are what keep the show on the air.

Catdaddy33 11-28-2005 04:50 AM

I'm hoping for a Cindi-Rafe final 2. Judd is annoying as hell, and I'm just tired of Steph.

I think I wrote my post before He won any of the challenges. He's kicking ass now for sure! I do not doubt that he can make the final 2 and if he gets there he would stand a good chance cause he hasnt really alienated anyone.

I really love tribal councils where all the beans are spilled. This never used to happen, but the last few seasons saw some people who knew they were going home blow everyone's cover. Priceless

BTW, what was up with Danni voting for Gary last week?

There is one simple, universal rule that can be applied to Survivor and life:

Regardless of alliance, brotherhood, sisterhood, or spousehood - if you get drunk and puke in my bed, I vote you off my island.

How that SOB is still in the game after that stunt is beyond me!
