IFC Channel
 

any of you guys get this channel. Its the only movie channel i get, and many nights before i fall asleep i watch it, i think it is a great channel.

Sometimes i just get tired of seeing million dollar actors/actress, doing what a first timer could.

It's a very good channel, the only one that shows Man Bites Dog in it's NC-17 form.

IFC and Sundance are two of the three reasons why I have digital cable. BBCAmerica is the other reason. :)

It shows the movies that I want to see. I am not a big movie theater person. I like the indie, low-budget, and non commercial films. The last movie I saw in a theater was Amelie. Besides, everyone likes film shorts.

I don't go to the movies. I don't particularly watch HBO except the original series. But I watch IFC.

What I love about IFC is that you can turn it on and watch a movie you've never heard of. You don't know what is going to happen, like you do with blockbusters. And there isn't always a happy ending. The topics covered are often more biting and real. Finally, there is no censorship.

Yeah it is a great channel. I watched requiem for a dream for the first time the other day on it. Cool movie, the nice thing is that I don't have to pay extra for it like a premium channel. and no cencorship, I didn't know you could get that unless you paid for it. Recently they have been playing that David lynch movie with Nicholas Cage. That is some crazy shit.

I enjoy it too for the most part, even though my cable company does charge a premium rate for it. Best of all are Samurai Saturdays, with Zatoichi the blind swordsman and more Kurosawa than you can shake a naginata at.:D
