I watched a little bit of that show just now...it was pretty funny. Poor Kristy Ally all the show really is is poking fun at the fact that she's fat now. I love how she can have a sense of humor about that. Again pretty funny show...had a few spots that made me laugh out loud. The episode I just watched she went to a diner to try and pick up black men and thought one was giving her eyes so she sent her assistant in there to talk her up and he said "So you like her?" And he said "Like her? She's fuckin fat!" and walked out :lol:

I've read reviews and they're kinda mixed...kinda like it..but it's not what they expected n shit. It hasn't sold me yet but if it's on I'll watch it lol.

She was hot on "Cheers". Quite sassy too. In a couple years she'll loose the weight like Anna Nichole Smith. In her early Playboy days, Anna was incredible. Then look what happened.

i almost started a threat about this, but not about the show though. i haven't seen the show, but i've seen the previews of the show and i've seen recent pics of her on the net for her new show, and i'll i have to say is this: oh my freaking god she is gorgeous. seriously. she is so hot!!! almost makes me want to watch the show, except for how annoying she is! some people see fat, i see a freaking hot woman.

Kirstie still manages to be hot, no matter what size she is. And I agree, she was way fine on Cheers.

True ratbastid, dont think I could hit it either, anna is quite a bit annoying, take away the eyes on Kirstie and see if you still think shes hot. lol

Although it did have it's moments, this show is entirely based on a once-beautiful woman being fat. For me the depressing state of her health took away from any entertainment value the show might have. I hope she gets back in shape before she dies young. She'd do well with pilates or some other core training program, as well as swearing off processed sugars and fats. I'd go with a diet primarily consisting of fruits, veggies, whole grains, non-fat, lo carb daries, baked poultry and fish, nad more water than a fish. For any healthy diet, it'd take her at least 9-14 months to go from what she was when she shot episode 1 of Fat Actress to a healthy figure.

Her career was basically down the tubes before fat actress, sorry for her. She needs to think of her health first, career second. Watch the documentary "Supersize Me". Excellent documentary on how excess weight can damage one's health. It should have won the Oscar.

I still think she's hot, I haven't watched her show..But i have seen her recently and i still like her alot. :D

I have a little thing for girls who are overweight..I'm not talkin 600 pounds or anything, I gotta be attracted to them though..over weight doesn't bother me.

Yeah she was hot on cheers.....I spent many years wishing I had eyes like hers cause they are so incredible.

Did any body see John Jakes mini series, North and South 1 & 2? God she amazed me with her acting in that.

I really wish she wouldnt do the Pier 1 commercials though....they make her look really cheesy

She was on Oprah promoting the show, and let me tell you, when the camera's weren't rolling, she was "CRAY-ZEE!" I mean it, this woman is chemically unbalanced. She scared the shit out of me and just about everyone else who was around her. She would just say things that you would look around and say "ooooooookay." I think the fat is seeping into her brain.

while i didn't see her on oprah, i still have to agree with you on how crazy she is. the Pier 1 Import commercials that she was in were freaking annoying. i'd still hit it though, with some duct tape over her mouth. :-)

Yup, I saw her on Letterman a week or so ago, and she came off as a few crazies shy of a full nuthouse.

I don't think she's acting in Fat Actress.

i just bought the box dvd set a few weeks ago. great, great mini-series... but that theme song sure gets annoying quickly. :)

i never thought about how well she played vigilia, but i guess she was pretty amazing b/c i never thought about how it was kristy ally playing her, i just thought about how much i hated her character.

Virgilia to me is one of the greatest mini series characters of all time!!!

I thought she looked pretty damn hot on the cover of TV guide last week (or is it still this week's issue?).

I didn't know that the North and the South mini series was available on DVD. Cool! Father's Day, or birthday, or some such crap is coming up. Well, finally I'll have an answer when Mrs. O'Rights asks me what I want. :D

not really... i don't think there's even any commentary or deleted scenes.

it does come with "book 3", which i watched about 20 minutes of and then turned it off. it might as well be a different mini-series all-together... i don't think it fits with the others at all.

yeah, I only watched 3 the first time it aired it stunk so bad.

Ahaha the episode I saw last night was pretty fuckin funny. Especially at the end during the credits where she started dancing with her neighbor. I crack up just thinking about it. And fucking BLOSSOM!!! Holy shit I didn't even realize it was her until Kristie said "Oh fuck you BLOSSOM!!!" Then I was like "HOLY SHIT THAT IS BLOSSOM!!!" Ahaha I didn't recognize her at all. What the fuck is her real name? Mayim something or other.
