The smackdown games are awesome especially the create-a-character. That aspect adds so much to the game. I think Kane should act like he's face is burnt again and were a mask. The FU>F5
well, they did set him on fire again at the end of raw or smackdown, so they might put the mask back on him...
remember the flaming dumpster, and Shane-O-Mac kicked him in. |
Nah, I think he's going to stay unmasked for awhile. It would be stupid to put him behind it again after 2 months. Counter productive :)
Anyway, heres what I think about the Kane/fire story: He's going to come out unscathed! He was burnt once, so he's already horrible scarred (yeah right). So any other burns shouldn't leave any damage (yeah right). So he will return, all pissed off as usual, breaking people over his knee. He will have a new outfit, because... well he just needs a new one. And he'll stop doing his "Flying Arm"-whatever off the top rope. that move is horrible to watch. anyway, back on subject - He's going to be fine. A little pissed off, a little balder. Bigger chip on his shoulder. |
I am a major WWE fan, and I have found myself not watching the shows as much. I still watch them every week, but I usually fast forward through most of the matches. The storylines have been downright boring for months now. I think its time to merge the 2 brands together and start some new storylines. There are a bunch of "supermatches" just waiting to be explored. Brock vs. HHH, Benoit vs. Orton, Angle vs. Test... the list can go on.
After tonight I've had it with the WWE. I really don't need to see Kane attaching jumper cables to Shane's nuts. NOt to mention the fact that it's a stupid storyline.
Yea, the jumper cable thing was a little bit much...
However, I find comfort in knowing that wasn't his real balls though... *shudders* |
Does anyone else think Christian is annoying? Or is it just me?
Christian has always been annoying. It's just that when he was tag-teaming with Edge, it was funny. Now his whole character revolves around this 'respect' thing and how no-one pays him any because he's such an annoying git. If it gets him heat, great but personally I don't think it does anything for him career-wise. Although the cheating to win against Jericho has the potential to give Christian a good push if Jericho works a program with him.
I'm one of Christians Peeps!! Werd!
Truely, he really is a talented wrestler. He just suffers from Marty Jennetty syndrome. He was the uninteresting "other guy" in the tag-team with Gangrel (Vampire Warrior), and then with Edge, and finally with Jericho. I intentionally ignored Lance Storm, because although he is a FANTASTIC wrestler, he has the personality of a spool of thread. Anyway, yeah, Christian does rock. Why don't people believe him? Expect Christian and Y2J to feud for awhile, as Y2J is sent back into the Intercontinental race. ---- Side Note: Y2J and Christian live on the same street. They are neighbors in real life. :D |
Is there any word on when Batista is coming back? I know he could come back at any time but I think Batista was kinda cool before he got injured, of course he'll probably go to Evolution, but maybe he cold make up for Randy Orton's stupidity and Triple H's crap. WWE needs to seriously stop kissing his ass and make him drop the title already. The Wolrd Heavyweight Title has been around for almost a year in WWE on Raw, and Triple H has has it all but one month of it's existance. Come on already take the god damn belt from his ass and give the wrestlers who deserve a push a shot at the belt like RVD, Jericho, and many others.
Anybody besides me remember when guys held the world titles for years at a stretch?
Years at a stretch? When was that? I do remember people having them for about a year.. but how many years are you talking about? Is this prevince mcmahon?
Bob Backlund held the WWF title 6 years in the late 70's early 80's. Bruno Sammartiono held it for 13 years on 2 spearate occasions in the 60's and 70's.
oh my O_O..
Alright. I don't remember that. Was that actually entertaining? |
I only caught the tail end of the Backlund years. You can't really compare it since the product is so much different today.
how long did Ric Flair hold the title? I know he's a 13 time champion, but in my book that means he lost it 12 times. Did he hold it for a long period of time once?
I know brock lesnar. he used to wrestle in a small town by me.
Hey I just found this wrestling post and have been reading it for over an hour now!
Hate to point things out but Shawn Micheals superkicked Marty to the floor then he picked him up and throw him through the Barber Shop window not kicked him throw it! Agree - Kevin Nash can't wrestle and neither can Freakstiener, Testicle, Prince Albert(A-Train whatever), Undertaker, Hogan, and the biggest non-wrestler of all Goldberg(but I do like his Dragon Leg-whip). Hurricane is great, great moves, great sells and I love the superhero charater. Can wrestle - Malenko, Shawn Michaels(whoelse have you seen slap on a shortarm leglock), Chris the Crippler, Eddie Gurrero, Jamie Noble, to name but a few. As stated earlier, why oh why are they no true Tag teams anymore, bring back Power and Glory, The Headshrinks, The Skyscrapers, The Buchwakers, Heavenly Bodies, Killer Bees, The British Bulldogs(RIP DAVY), HartFoundation, The Rockers, Demolition................granted some of these were rather poor on the techical wrestling front but at leats they were a tag team and not a couple of individual wrestlers. Ok question, what is everyines take on Stephanie McMahon - my opion(for what its worth) is she can't wrestle, can't act and that voice just hurts my ears and has she had two enlargement op's or just one, cos I swear they have grow twice! PS In UK we get almost all of the WWE pay-per-views for free(or at no extra cost) but that all we get nothing else just WWE, which kinda makes me sad as I miss all the guys who have left for smaller promo's.......................and by now you proably know where I 'pinched' my anme from.... PSS - If they is a god thanks be to him that Hogan is not on my dam screen anymore... jeez I can through a puch, a closeline and a legdrop and i'm not a pro-wrestler so why the hell is(hopefully was) he...... |
I, too, am one of Christian's peeps! His heel turn was great, and they made him into an entertaning wrestler on his own. I miss his old music, though...I liked the operatic intro.
What is the deal with 'Taker in the title picture?!?! Thank god they didn't give him the title. That would just be painful... Just a little over two weeks til HHHHHHHHHHHH loses the title (cross my fingers, pray to god, do a dance, etc.) If he keeps the title after this PPV, I might be done with Raw... |
Which is better no Goldberg or no HHH with the title...
I wonder if the new smackdown video game is gonna have an unbeatable HHH as the Title holder. I mean it would suck to have Ric Flair show up out of no where and help HHH kick you ass, but at least it would be true to the current storylines. . . O_o And for the whole Hogan can't wrestle thing. Well lots of wrestlers in interviews admit Hogan isn't the best "wrestler" in the world. Hogan himself has admitted lack of ring skills, but the thing is Hogan can work the crowd. Very few people can work the crowd like Hogan was able to do. Thats one reason I like The Rock, he has great mic skills, the same goes for Y2J. "Do you like pie???" "We all know who these ass-clowns came here to see." |
Quote:
If I'm wrong about Flair someone please correct me. |
Yeah...working the crowd/mic skills sure counts for a lot now. Look what happened to Bull Buchanan. He was a talented wrestler with no personality. They kept trying to give him supporting roles, like with the Bossman and the RTC, but it just didn't work. Personality goes a long way...
is this the steve blackmon fan club?
:) So what happened on smackdown last night (9/4)? |
I gotta admit I was a big Hulkamaniac in the day and still enjoy him on the stick or on a talk show...maybe it's time he moves into a commish role or a manager-type thing [maybe a role like Flair is in] if he ids going to show up in WWE again, that is.
Biggest thing I know of that Flair did was holding the Wolrd title 16 times, now if he held it for a long time I dont know, something to research I guess. And as far as Hogan goes, he left the WWE a month or 2 ago, he probably won't be back.
So, what did you all think of SmackDown!? I thought the best part was the Undertaker/Angle title match, it was good up until Brock Lesnar made the predictble true, and ruined it.
too many crap endings in WWE these days...they need to come up with more creative ways to keep heat on all involved withuot every matchending with a run in...Overall though, a good show. Smackdown continues to get it far more than Raw.
Yeah, that and throwing Zach Gowen down the stairs was lame as hell in my opinion. I mean, that was just plain stupid.
Yes, Zach Gowen got the shaft, yet again, poor kid.
o god did u ever fuck up La Resistance, poor Spike
I saw HHH/Flair VS Orton/Goldberg a mile away, but that was really enjoyable tonight anyways.
With Spike's bump and the hard landing of Trish during her match, I'm waiting for another serious injury. It seems as if they're more comfortable with just taking giant risks rather than developing an exciting storyline.
Let's take a bad guy....put him against a good guy....and then throw him really hard against something. I'm worried about the health of these guys. I don't want another Droz or Dynamite Kid. |
I'm making a predicton now, and that is Triple H will lose the World Heavyweight Title at Unforgiven to Goldberg. Who's with me?
If HHH doesn't lose the title at Unforgiven, I will stop watching WWE, and I'm not alone in my opinion. HHH seriously needs to get off the belt and let someone else hold it for a while. The only reason HHH still has it is because he always gets his buddies involved. I am inclined to agree with DownwardSpiral though. I honestly don't believe that Goldberg is going anywhere any time soon anyway (unless he goes to Smackdown).
I saw Spike's bump Monday night. I would find it very difficult to believe that he didn't get hurt in any way. I hope that he's alright. |
Bah, I bet spikes fine. I mean, its ONLY the back of his head that cracked off the edge of a table. He's had worse. :)
Don't kill me or anything, BUT, what are the stipulations of the match between HHH and Goldberg? I wasn't really paying attention, as I usually do with HHH, Goldberg and Big Shmo. Is it Goldberg has to Win the TITLE, or he just has to win to keep his job? If he just has to win, then you can rest assured that the rest of Evolution will butt-rape Goldberg during the match, giving HHH a win. If he has to win the title... well... I'd rather see HHH keep it than give it to Goldberg. |
I wish I had a television and could watch. :( I miss the WWE.
Quote:
You're not missing much. I'm finding myself watching it less and less. Now I watch it just to see Stone Cold and Goldberg.

The biggest bump at a PPV for the WWE could have easily happened in the first match at a house show in ECW. The biggest storylines the ECW had no one really cared about because they just set up absolutely incredible matches. Rhino vs Sandman Tommy Dreamer vs anyone RVD vs anyone Almost any match in ECW has surpased the best WWF/E match in the past 2 years. When the WWE is telling guys like RVD, and Rey Mysterio to slow down, do very few top rope moves, and to exclude most outside weapons, they're basically guarenting a crappy match. |
Someone please answer my question up above, thanks :)
---- GOOD NEWS: The sucky half of La Ouisistance is injured!! He hurt his neck or something. Good. Maybe he'll lose his new pot-belly and sucky ring skills. I'll admit it, La Ouisistance isn't as bad as I used to say they were. Pretty much, the only thing that sucks about it was Grenier. The sucky half. Rene Dupree is pretty freaking cool. Rob Conway has a good look to him. I'd like to see some matches between himself and Val Venis, since I pretty much think of them both as the same guy (don't ask) |
In response to your question, MeanSpleen, If Goldberg wins the match, he will get the belt, but if he loses, he has to leave WWE forever. Sucks, huh? I'd personally rather watch two hours of Goldberg or Stone Cold than have to endure five minutes of HHH or Ric Flair.
I'll almost guarantee that Goldberg wins at Unforgiven, Triple H is gonna drop the belt. If he dosen't I'll plague the WWE with horrible e mails hah.
Quote:
Droz had his neck broken and was made a quadriplegic in a match with D'Lo Brown when D'Lo botched a running power-bomb and dropped Droz on his head. Last I remember Droz was doing some sort of talk show thing for the WWE but I don't know where he's at now. Oh yeah, and Goldberg will probably win the title, because I can't imagine Vinnie Mac wanting to waste all the money he must have spent to get Goldberg to sign. It would also make for some interesting stories as Evolution tries to regain the gold. |
Actually, Triple H is due to take time off after Unforgiven because he's getting married, that's why I think he's gonna drop the belt to Goldberg.
Ah thanky thanky. :)
Just to make sure, he has to win the match AND the title. right? ====== As for the Droz inquisition : Go to WWE.com> Commentaries or something. He has a pretty good article that he writes nearly everyweek. He took over for JR's 2 cents that JR wrote a couple years ago. Side note: Droz is married to the lady who designs and makes most of the WWE's costumes. So that is a pretty good reason as to why he is still on the company payroll ;) |
Steve Austin made it so that if Triple H gets disqualified or counted out he will lose the match and the belt to Goldberg, so no mtter how Goldberg wins hes gonna get the title, meanSpleen.
Woohoo! It's looking better and better! I just hope they don't pull what they did a few years back with the Foley/HHH series...That would really turn me off.
hehe, fantastic downwardspiral! I think that totally answers my questions!
umm, and HHH... please don't give the title to Goldberg... please. *sob* I know. Put Jericho in the match. Yeah, and let Y2J win! |
Nah meanSpleen I've also heard that Jericho's wife is due to have a child anytime, so I doubt he'd get the title so close to that event occuring.
Let him win, and bring the kid to all the events! In just 18 years, we can have another Jericho in the business! Hell, we can call him Y3J... *bad joke*
Anyone notice that Sean OHaire actually made it on Smackdown on Thursday? His arm is very recognizable, when he was at the APA's table, and I'm pretty sure he was skulking around in the Cena/Guerrero match. ---- Go Chavo! Welcome back! (finally, even though you were ready to come back a few weeks ago) |
I think we have a Jerichoholic in the thread, lol. I actually agree w/ you somewhat, Jericho is very entertaining and hes good at what he does, he should be given that push back to main event status in my opinion.
Jericho's cool. He can make me laugh and he can wrestle.
He must have the championship! |
Nah Spacemonkey, as long as Goldberg has the belt, and he will, they wont give Jericho the chance, Goldberg will probably be the one to carry RAW as soon as HHH takes his time off.
Yeah, your right, Jericho probably won't have a shot at the belt for a very long time. But Jericho DESERVES a title shot.
So does Chris Benoit on SmackDown! But that'll never happen either. *Sigh* Vince McMahon should put me in charge of the storylines in WWE, i'd make it interesting! Hah.
1.) my all time fav. wrestler is hbk... followed by hhh and jericho.... jericho is hilarious
2.)Jeff hardy was the shit and his skills did not uck that guy was a sick wrestrler and i saw him as the better if the 2 hardy's and yeha that guy takes mad bumps... i mean jesus every tlc match i would just wait to see that fucker almost kill himself 3.) trish and stacy r extremely hot but both lakc a buiit i skill altho trish hads vastly improved 4.) they should get sting 5.)i hate kane w/o the mask its fucking retarded 6.) mysterio is the shyt 7.) edge was good 8.) rvd is the shit |
1) The current HBK, or the old one? Theres a difference. The current one screams "I'm trying to relive my past!" The old one was "I'm trying to prove I'm not Bret Hart"
I hate you for liking HHH. :D I love you for liking Jericho. :D 2) Jeff Hardy has some skills. Yes. But he is solely an entertainer who can pull off some good looking moves. However, technically, I have to say that Matt Hardy is, and was, the better wrestler of the two. 6) Mysterio rocks, but I'm tired of the same 4 moves every match. I want WWE to let him tryout some new stuff, and get him into the ring with Ultimo Dragon, Psikosis, and Amazing Red. Now THAT would be an entertaining match. Hell, lets toss Spanky (penis) in there too. 7) Edge rocked. He's still healing, with expected return sometime next year from his neck surgury. I believe he went for a fusing, instead of the repair that Angle opted for. Fusing takes longer to heal. 8) RVD is "The Whole Damn Show!!" I wish he was on smackdown. No reason. I just wish he was on smackdown. And bring Matt Hardy back to RAW!! :D But their current characters (okay, RVD's ONLY character) just don't fit the definitions of each show. RAW=Entertainment (har) Smackdown=Wrassling (:D) ===== Jeebus... an ironman match on Smackdown? Isn't that a wee bit long? I mean, the shows only 120 minutes, minus ten 5 minutes commercial breaks, minus 20 minutes of McMahon airtime, minus 8 minutes of bantering between Tazz and Cole, minus a 4 minute bikini show, minus a 6 minute Benoit screwjob. That leaves what, 32 minutes for a ironman match?!??!? |
Quote:
2.)i will igve u that matt had was a better technical wrestler jeff was more entertaining as u said and he pulls sum great shit off ...in fact the hardy boyz are my all time fav tag teamyou have mats tech wiht jeffs moves and areiel attacks and u have a great team that is extremely well rounded. 3.) mysterio does need some cruiserweight competiton their is barey any in the wwe ... wcw back in the nwo days had a great cruiserweight league going on. 4.) edge was great him and christians rivalry with the hardy's was incredible 8.) rvd is an amazing wrestler altho he need a lil work they have to figure out new ways to find fueds wiht him... that dont end up with himprooving hes the whole f'n show everytime |
ps. i havet been tuning in too much it kinda started getting lame a few onths back they need to do soemthing

Hell, almost anything you saw in the WWE/F you thought was the most amazing thing ever was probably done in ECW two years before. |
Here's my first post on this thread. I didn't read all 9 pages of posts, so forgive me if I repeat something.
I generally don't watch wrestling much anymore. I was a rabid fan in the 80's and early 90's, with my interest sparked by Hulk Hogan winning his first WWF title over the Iron Shiek. I watched the NWA and WWF religiously, including all of the Wrestlemanias, Starracades, and the always elusive Saturday Night's Main Event. Looking back, I realize that the thing that pulls you in is the stories, not the violence. Sure, you wanted to see a well conceived match with lots of drama and action, but a match wasn't necessarily better if it was bloody or ultraviolent. So recently I was flipping channels and I landed on one of the WWE programs. I was really shocked at how violent it was. Brock something (you know who I'm talking about) was tossing this skinny guy around like a rag doll, smacking him with chairs, smashing his legs into the steel posts, etc. While we all know that the story lines and outcomes of WWE matches are pre-written, a lot of this violence is real. Back in the day, getting hit with a steel chair looked pretty tame. Now a days, I'm surprised that people aren't in the hospital for compressed spinal columns. So my question is this: is WWE going to far in the violence department? Do fans really crave blood and broken bones so much that the wrestlers are willing to risk their lives for Vince McMahon? |
The thing is that they aren't risking their lives. Aside from a handful of wrestlers, most of the WWE roster are part-time independant contractors. They have the option to say no to any stunt that may occur. (although the probability of them not appearing on any following shows is likely if that happens)
No move is forced, just because VinnieMac says so. Booker T refuses to use a full basket scissors kick because it is extremely dangerous if the other guy does not land correctly. He only uses it in PPV's and high profile matches. Otherwise, he just uses the one leg scissor, which is much safer. The best matches are generally not the most violent ones. Chairs, Ladders, Tables, Cages, are just incentive for people who are tired of the standard match. Great matches have ups, and downs, backs and forths between the wrestlers involved. It doesn't have to be technically sound, nor does it have to have any spectacular moves. It just needs to flow well, and be as 'real' as possible for the fans to see. Broken bones and blood are not something to strive for. If you break something, it will just cause you to either: a) do worse in the ring, because with the broken something or other, you can't do your regular moves b) can't wrestle, because you are out to heal |
I always thought Matt Hardy was the better Hardy Boy, Jeff was like a mediocre Rey Mysterio to me.

What skills did Jeff have?
The only "skill" Jeff had was he flipped a few ways which had been done years before he broke in. He couldn't even flip accurately. That "Whisper In The Wind" bullshit never, EVER, hit someone squarely. |
1st RVD is "The Whole Damn Show", he's also "Mr. Monday Night", maybe thats why he's on RAW?. To bad they didn't make more of his feud with Y2J. All so, I wish the hardcore belt was still in action. Having RVD as the hardcore champion would be awesome if they didn't tone down the matches. Imagine a RVD & Tommy Dreamer match like in the ECW days. :)
2nd Thank god the Dudley boys are back in action. Bubba Ray and Devon didn't work all that well solo. Though the Reverand had some great enterance music, and he faired better solo than Bubba in my mind. 3rd Sting isn't gonna leave NWA :( 4th, Oldberg should win the title and then lose it to Y2J :) . If Goldberg becomes the new HHH and goes into a period of no jobbing and no selling I'll give up on RAW. (Also, does anyone like Jericho's newest music? I heard it once, but I have mixed feelings about it.) 5th I don't like Kane's new maskless char. Kane new direction is weird to say the least. Same goes for the Deadman's American Badass char(I know he's been this way for a while but I still don't like it. His old theme Rollin' really got on my nerves...). I miss "The" Undertaker. The Ministry days, before the Corporate Ministry were my favorite Undertaker days. |
Quote:
i liekd the way he wrestled and i thoiught he was extremly entertaining to watch alhto he was sloppy |
I don't know about the rest of you but the mic going out on RAW was pretty funny. I like how HHH covered for it though. "I'd didn't know Goldberg made Microphones. Something else that doesn't work."
i wanna see shane and kane go down just cause Shane hit kane about 6 times square in the nuts.... i ddint know that could happn and u can still walk
well shane had jumper cables "attached" to his nuts and he seems fine walking around. Watch that part again in slow mo, i bet you he pulled the kicks.
As much as you people want Jericho to be the Champion once again, seeing as he has been put back in the Intercontinental championship contention, that probably wont be happening anytime soon.
Who cares?! Lets make him a triple crown KING OF THE WORLD!! (Heavyweight, Intercontinental, and Tag) :) That would be awesome... although he really can't hold the heavyweight and intercontintental belts at the same time *sigh*
Quote:
Not at the same time though. You can't hold the World Heavyweight Championship at the same time as the Intercontinental title... I think. Pretty sure at least. But yes, I agree that HBK and Stone Cold have indeed held all three titles, albeit at different times.
stone cold held the intercontinental and the world title, but they made him give up his intercontinental ... hbk i messed up on, he held the european title at the same time
Don't forget the Ultimo Dragon, that man had 16 belts at once, why can't Y2J have 2?
Dragon had those titles in different promotions, not the same one. And no, Austin didn't have the World title and the IC belt at the same time, at least not that I recall.
Quote:
What do you guys have against Goldberg? He is very entertaining to watch. His "pissed" motif is awesome to watch. Same thing with Big Poppa Pump.
Goldberg does the same moves every match, he refuses to take some moves, he has been careless in the ring, and he hasn't ever taken a big bump.
I remember when Scott Steiner used to be a very impressive almost cruiserweight type wrestler. Now he's just an overly pumped up juicehead.
Great Ironman Match on Smackdown! last night...hopefully the numbers will be good and we'll get more actual wrestling on wrestling shows. They got me too, never thought they'd give away a PPV match with a PPV ending [title change]...GREAT JOB by WWE!!!
Quote:
Steve Austin won his first title from Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania XIV, and after that I don't recall him ever holding the Intercontinental title again, so as far as i'm concerned, no, he didn't hold them at the same time. The only person I recall ever doing that and getting stripped of the IC Belt is the Ultimate Warrior. And I was personally upset with the Ironman match, Lesnar didn't deserve to get the title back so soon. And I don't have anything against Goldberg, bt Steiner I never did like, his gimmick is stupid and signing that fool was a mistake, he went from title shots to matches over Stacy Keibler with Test. And, lastly, what;s your bets on the title match Sunday between Goldberg and Triple H? I think Goldberg is gonna get it done this time, what do you all think?
Oh ya and if you're referring to the time when Steve Austin forfeited the IC Belt to The Rock when Rock was in the Nation, Steve Austin had not yet won the World Title from HBK.

Smackdown title changes often revolve around injuries. Brock was injured for a little bit, then Angle came back, now Angle is getting beat up a little (on top of coming back from his neck injury in an extremely short period of time). Angle's sister also recently died so he might get a little time off to grieve with his family.
Not every title change is decided by the creative team, sometimes other factors force a change. |
I heard about Angles sister and that's sad, but at least give the belt to someone worthy, like Chris Benoit, or the Undertake, but not Lesnar, he;s more a Goldberg clone, but a heel, in my opinion.
They give it to someone in the storyline. The WWF/E has been careful with it's belts in the past and given them to people involved in the storylines. It's better than WCW and them changing the title belt every week.
Actually, traditionally the WWF/E has had one or two PPV quality matches a year on their major programs (Raw/SD). Most often they occur almost as far away from Wrestlemania as possible. Probably to keep the interest in the company until months later the big PPV can finally push the company back up. |
No offense Jimmy but the WWE is far from careful with their titles. I mean why keep the World Title on a guy who is injured just because he's banging the boss's daughter?
Trench - theres a difference between being careful, and being safe.
WWE is careful by not having title changes on a weekly basis, as Jimmy said before. They also keep it within main event stars. There are no suprises (usually) as you can be sure that Lance Storm will never hold the World Title (sadly) because he really just isn't WWE world champ material... sad sad sad. WWE is being safe with the title, which will answer your thing above Quote:
It would be nice if they gave it to someone else, but who? I spout all the time that Jericho should be champ, but how the heck are they going to get HHH and Jericho into a ring? They need to build some sort of story line, which would lead to a few matches, then to a PPV or two. I probably started rambling, but the point is that HHH was able to keep the title because he can do what he does pretty dang well, even though I really don't like him. |
Triple H does get away with too much shit, and he influences everything far too much, but he still is one of the top main event stars in the WWF/E (sadly).
I hope Lance Storm's character does get a push up in the ranks. I like his "trying to prove I'm not boring anymore" character. He and Golddust are hilarious together.
I don't really like thre whole Lance Storm/Goldust gimmick, just something about it turns me away from the screen when they come on. And I agree with meanSpleen, they didn't just give HHH the belt because he is marrying Stephanie, HHH draws a crowd. He is one of the top moneymakers in the company.
Spleens Spouts Unforgiven Results!! (just guesses people)
----- 1) HHH vs. Goldberg - WHY? DAMMIT... HHH will win. (We all know goldberg will, but a guy can hope can't he?) Winner: HHH 2) Michaels vs. Orton - Michaels looks sissyer and sissyer every week. He needs to stop wearing his old ramp walk outfits. It makes him look like a bikers "friend". Orton wins with the ugliest Diamond Cutter in the business. Winner: Orton 3) Kane vs. ShaneoMac - I want more feuds in RAW. Oh! here's one! Kane will beat the crap out of Shane, but Shane will make a comeback at the next PPV. Winner: Kane 4) SnowCoach vs LawlerRoss - Sigh... Winner: Snow and Coach, for 2 weeks. 5) Christian vs RVD vs Jericho - ____ Winner: Y2J !!!!! :D 6) Dudleys vs La Ouisistance (and Conway): Dudleys will make the Frenchies (canadians) suffer for their beaning Spike off a table. Winner: Dudleys with another 3D through a table 7) Test vs Steiner - ... wait... haven't we seen this match before? Oh yeah, only at the last 5 PPV's duh! Winner: Test wins, and makes Steiner a Bottom (catcher), and Test remains a Top (pitcher). Keibler takes photos and posts them on the internet. 8) TrishLita vs. MollyGail - Who cares? PUPPIES!! *smacks the lawler out of himself* okay, lets see... Trish is doing pretty good, and Lita is back from a serious injury. Molly is carrying Gail, who is still trying to kill herself in the ring... hmm... Victoria comes out and interferes. Winner: Molly and Gail as Victoria gets Trish and Lita DQ'ed. |
Spleen...your predictions seem right on the money...except for HHH, obviously. I really don't want to see Goldbore with the title, but it's better than any more months of HHH, while they build a new storyline, IMO.

I hope Coach and Snow lose tonight, I don't wanna hear Coach ramble on more than I have to.

Unforgiven winners!
Handicap Tables match for the World Tag Team Titles: Dudley Boyz vs. La Resistance and Rob Conway. Winners: Dudleyz after putting Rene Dupree through a table to finish the match. Test vs. Scott Steiner Winner: Test, after Stacy inadvertantly hit Steine with a chair, Test uses the Big Boot for the pinfall. Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels Winner: Orton, after using brass knuckles provided by Flair. Gail Kim and Molly Holly vs. Lita and Trish Stratus Winners: Lita and Trish, by pinfall when Lita used a top rope moonsault on Molly. Shane McMahon vs. Kane (Last Man Standing) Winner: Kane, Shane climbed the Unforgiven set (we all knew he would) and tried to dive on Kane but Kane moved. Ref started ten count, and Kane got up but Shane didn't. Intercontinental Championship - Triple Threat Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Jericho vs. Christian Winner: Christian retains the title after RVD goes for the Five Star Frog Splash, but Christian gets his knees (and the IC title) up and he pins RVD for the win. RAW Annouce Team decider: Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross vs. The Coach and Al Snow Winners: Coach and Snow after Chris Jericho interferes and drop kicks JR in the head and rolls Coach onto JR for the pin. World Heavyweight Title match: Goldberg vs. Triple H Winner: Goldberg, via Jackhammer slam and pin. I know I didn't go through all the details but there ya have the winners at least, for those people who didn't see and might wnna check here for the results. Until we meet again. . . |
