"Strange Love", Brigette and Flav.... - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

There is another thread about the Surreal Life 4 and someone mentioned Brigette Nielson and Flavor Flav. As someone else also said, it's like not being able to look away from a car-wreck. I detest reality t.v. and yet hubby was away for work (from Michigan to California) and there was nothing else on the tube so I watched the last episode of the last season of Surreal Life. I was spellbound.

I could not believe how Brigette had aged: wrinkles, old-lady looking belly (and trust me I'm by no means perfect), saggy boobs. And yet she was walking around naked. Flavor Flav is one of the homliest people alive (really, he's ugly, but I'll leave that to you beholders). The episode I saw, Flav was hitting on some really young chick and only seemed to be a slight friend to Brigette.

Next thing you know-"Strange Love". It is indeed a strange love if it is real. I saw the first episode when Flav showed up in Italy to "claim" Brigette for himself, all-the-while acting like her fiance' didn't exist. I caught the episode tonight with Flav flabbergasting Brigette's "cultured" friends at a formal dinner. I'm curious, if she is really a part of that Italian cities "in crowd", why did she bring Flav to that dinner with her? For that matter, with all the aires she seems to put on, what is she doing with him in the first place? I just don't get it. I am at the same time attracted and repelled.

Anyone have some thoughts on this freakin' weird, I mean, "Strange Love"?

Most of it is an act and a way for them to revive their comotose(Flav) and dead(Brigette)Nielson. It's not Strange Love it's "OMG that's freakin nasty!" infatuation.

i tried watching strange love, but at the beginning of the dinner party one (i think?)
she gets woken up in bed by the camera crew, sits up and is in this completly disgusting bathing suit type deal.
I think this Show and VH1 has ruined Rocky 4 for me forever
