24: Who makes you fast forward?

Does anybody else fast forward through plotlines involving certain characters? I'm a recent fan of the show but have found some pieces annoying to distraction be it dialog, acting, or situation. Anybody else?

Fast forward? Are you fucking kidding me?

Seriously though, I dont even have TiVo, even if I did I would never fast forward through any part of the best fucking show in the universe.

I'm sure part of the effect stems from watching the series en masse (~2/day) versus waiting a week between shows. Every series I've watched this way loses something. Sometimes several somethings. You begin to see through to the writing and that hurts the illusion.

Fast forward? No fucking way. I don't want to miss a second of this show. I own all three seasons on DVD, and I watch them all the time. Fast forwarding defeats the purpose the real-time theme

*GASP* That's like, blasphemy! Albeit I have to admit some of the characters *annoy* me (i.e. Chloe and Kim), I would still never fast forward any part of the show. It is just that good

I'll be honest before this last season when Jack's daughter worked for CTU there I would get annoyed at all of her little adventures and would kinda skip sometimes.

Didn't skip at all this last season and can't wait until the premire tomorrow! .. I'll tell you one person i'd never miss a frame of is Mrs Almedia.. wow incredibly beautiful

How dare you fast forward... this show has had only 1 weak character in my opinion... Palmers Son from last season... really lame... but put that remote down or loose an arm sonny!

Palmer's son? Look, Keith is the fucking man. Season one. Enough said.

Terri, Kim and a host of other characters have had bad moments, and it's looking like Erin Driscole's going to hold that role this season with the bad, unrelated sideplot. Oh well.

On topic, never fast forward.

Well, I have only watched the first 3 seasons on DVD's. How anyone could watch this show through a season is beyond me. It is way to suspenseful at the end of each hour. I've never fast forwarded, but if I would have, it would have been season 1, with Palmer's kids. To tell you the truth, I wish they would have wasted less time on Palmer all throughout the first 3 seasons, but hey, it can't be all Jack.

Looks like we got a couple more hits on Jack's daughter!
Is it her hair?

I'm unable to express the raging torrent of emotions that washed over me upon first seeing her in a full-time CTU role. Feh.

I didn't like Jack's daughter (Dim Bauer) very much...but I did enjoy looking at her nipples. So no FFWD for me.

Forgot about that. Ya'know, I liked them too, but eventually her hemorrhagic mood swings erased all benefits, and had me praying she'd be the next to get the axe.

I thought David Palmer was the most interesting character on the show, although the decisions he made in the third season pretty much closed the book on him as president. The new president is alright, but so far they haven't made him such a strong, in-your-face character as Palmer was. Defense Secretary Heller is more than filling his shoes in that respect, though.

Heller is my new favorite for this season, although I'd fast forward through his daughter's constant moaning and whining. They are going to have a tough time finding a female lead to take the place of Nina or Sherry, although Mrs. Araz is certainly getting interesting.
