Bourne Supremacy

Well a good entertainment piece per se,

I am a big fan of Franka PO, was hoping to see some serious skin in this movie, come to think of it, she's never been naked on screen, (right?)

shockingly Lola died within the first 10 mins of the movie, and that made the movied suffered with her performance

you think she got full pay for that

Thanks for spoiling it, guy.
Kindly use the Spoiler tags next time, please.

This is one hell of a movie. Very well written, very well directed, and very very well acted. Who knew Matt Damon could act?
If you liked the movies, you'l love the books. They have different storys, but have the same Jason Borune character with his amnesia.

Yeah, different is an understatement. About the only things they have in common is the character names  Good beach reads, though.

Just saw it this weekend. Great movie, much better than the first one. Loved the chase scene as well. Seemed like Damon just smashed the crap out of that car.

Anyways, for all of those that want to watch a great action movie, be sure to check this one out.

Julia Stiles' character was such a wuss, though. You'd think she'd be more calm after having handled those special agents before.

I'm not sure.
Spoiler: Basically the premice is similar. A man finds himself floating in the Mediterranean Sea riddled with bullets. He has no memory and his only clues are a frame of microfilm implanted in his hip and evidence of plastic surgery. The film says "J.B." and has a swiss bank number on it. Then the story diverges from the movie...or the movie diverges from the book. Aparently there is a great assasin names Carlos who Jason is directly connected to in some way. He comes to find out that Carlos is the worlds greatest assasin. Ther still is a Treadstone and Marie, but it's set up a little differently. If you liked the movie, get up from your desk now, grab your keys as you are running out the door, get in your car, and brake every speed law to get to the nearest book store (cause that's what Bourne, or Webb, would do). Or just go and get it at your convenience.

I did just that, it's pretty good,

I'm not usually an action-movie kinda gal, but I have liked Matt Damon in everything he's done, and these movies really do it for me. The Russian car chase is about one of the best I've ever seen (except the Blues Brothers of course - hahaha)

I wonder what the next movie will be about..Treadstone is over, he killed everyone who was responsible for the death of his girl...

I was kinda wondering about that. Im half way through reading Bourned Supremacy, and then Ill move on to the next one, but given that they didnt follow the books before, I doubt reading them now will help me guess whats gonna happen in the next one. Im sure theyll think of something though, I just hope they can keep the quality high.

Oh, and just a nitpicky thing: please use the spoiler tag if you are going to put spoilers in your post. Dont want to ruin it for anyone who hasnt seen the movie.

One word... Spoiler: Carlos. This guy was the main focus, besides Webb, in the books. He is a fantastic character that has some great possibilities. The Carlos character is based on the same figure that Bruce Willis played in the movie 'the Jackal'. Just my opinion. We'll have to wait and see.

Ooh, agreed. That would be a nice plotline for them to get into.

Willravel 10-25-2004 01:39 PM
