Excalibur Song
In the 80's movie "Excalibur", what was the classical song at the end of the movie-as Arthur and his men were riding into the final battle?
I can't think of it, and it's been driving me crazy... |
O Fortuna - Wagner

Blessed be! Thanks! :D |
Are you sure about that? I didn't see Excalibur, but the "O Fortuna" that shows up in most movies and advertisements is usually from "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff. It is a kick-ass choral piece.
EDIT: Yeah, I just checked the IMDB.com soundtrack listing for Excalibur, and it's Orff. |
Carmina Burana is the entire symphony. O Fortuna is the first part. Carl Orff.
They also play parts from The Ring Cycle opera by Wagner. Mainly Magic Fire Music and Entry of the Gods into Valhalla. |
its o fortuna- wife bought me the films soundtrack last x-mas

Best quote from Excalibur: "Be silent, be still!"

One great scene, with that tune blaring, and the knights riding through the forest and white blossoms surrounding them. Wow.
