Blade:Trinity

Has anyone seen the teasers floating around???? What da' ya' think??? All my movie geek friends (along with myself), have jobs and lives and all that shit and dont get together as much as we usually did to give hollywood some shit.It looks kinda good, but i did say the same about the last one,i was somewhat disapointed,it was good but it wasnt the first one by a mile.I was just wondering what everyone was thinking.

Moobie 07-01-2004 08:33 PM

Well, it looks cool, but not particularly exhilarating. I loved the first movie, the second one though left allot to be desired. The scene in the desert looked pretty cool. I haven't really heard anything about this movie in quite a while. So aside from the trailer, I don't even know what it's about.

SecretMethod70 07-01-2004 10:56 PM

Spoiler: I read something on a website about the vampires raising Dracula in this one.

I was getting food so I missed the trailer when I saw Spider-Man 2, but there's some information (WITH SPOILERS!) on http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hp&cf=prev&id=1808473209

Anyone got a link to a trailer?

Radio Monk33 07-02-2004 12:02 AM

Wow I cant believe people liked the first one better...I liked the 2nd Blade much better...I liked the plot and the special effects were actually good. :)

Got ya covered, just click on "watch the trailer." Gotta have macromedia flash in order to view the page. In any case, you can find the trailer here.

Kazic 07-02-2004 10:36 AM

I like both the first and the second. Though the first seem more real than the second. and darker. The second definately had its moments.
still gonna see trinity.

Kazic 07-02-2004 10:38 AM

just watched the trailer. Looks good imo.

agamemnon5 07-02-2004 01:27 PM

anyone wondering about the plot, from what i understand, the vampires frame blade for some serial murders to get him out of the way, so they can do some genetics voodoo to bring the big kahuna himself(dracula) back to life,i didnt remember if blade had to kick his ass too.i like the casting of jessica beals as whistlers daughter, damn she's hot.

gorilla 07-02-2004 09:57 PM

havent heard much about the third, but I really liked the first one and, while the second wasnt as good, I liked that one too. Looking forward to Trinity

Redjake 07-03-2004 06:18 PM

the second one was so much better than the first. the first one had terrible graphics, which made the movie (to me anyway) unbelievable (even in that comic book aspect). the acting was good, but it just didn't hit home. the second showed us some of the best graphics to grace movies and the acting was just as good. I loved it. the fight scenes are awesome and the characters kick ass. I hope Trinity is as good as the 2nd.

Fremen 07-03-2004 07:25 PM

Aren't they supposed to fight Dracula in this one?

Anyway, I think Trinity will be better than 1 & 2, from what I've seen. *fingers crossed*

Key 07-04-2004 10:17 PM

i don't know how much better it could be. the way i see it the whole premise of Blade is the coolness factor.

it sets the defiinition for mad style. anytime you see him killing a vampire it's not about him killing the vampire, it's about HOW he kills them. thus the invention of new gadgets and vampire killing methodology is as crucial to the series as bond. don't get me wrong, i love the series. but i'm definitely not going for the story or plot.

Keedo 07-11-2004 07:31 AM

When is this slated to be released?

I liked the first one better as well. Not that the second one stunk but I though that it was overly gory where it didn't need to be. ie: The Vampire S&M club where they're just cutting the flesh off of each other for fun. Sometimes I think that the suggestion is better then actually showing it. For example, if they had shown the entrance with all the cutting tools and then waded through the club w/o showing all of the hanging flesh but them "about" to cut into each other...I think it would've been more effective.

The trailer for "Trinity" looks interesting. One thing that puzzles me though is that....why isn't it a Summer movie?? ;)

bltzkriegmcanon 07-14-2004 05:17 AM

Because it's not being released to appeal to a younger audience. It's an R-rated movie. It doesn't have to follow the counter-school schedule like most blockbusters do. If you see a blockbuster, $250 million movie that doesn't follow this pattern, then somebody in marketing for that company either felt that it wasn't gonna be that big of a hit, or somebody ended up getting fired over it. Either that, or the movie couldn't hold it's own against the mega-monster-movies of the summer. I mean, December 10 is just close enough to be right up against Christmas, so it's sort of following the counter-school schedule, but it's not so close as, say, your LOTR movies in that regard.

Sargeman 07-14-2004 11:09 AM

I liked the first two and the trailer for this one is pretty good too.

I hope it's not a let down like the matrix movies because I plan on going to see it.

Bobaphat 07-14-2004 11:40 AM

The WWE wrestler Triple H is supposed to be in this one as one of the bad guys. Thats about the only reason I would really want to see this one.

Ah....well I guess that makes sense.

Yeah. I plan on seeing it as well. I'll watch both DVD's back to back and then see the movie. :)

Porkchop 07-15-2004 06:59 AM

Agree Gjefflin. I will do the same. Watch the dvds then this one. Just watched the trailer looks very good. My girl loves these films only dont know when its released in Europe?

Sparhawk 07-18-2004 07:17 PM

I still can't believe the guy from Van Wilder and in this movie are one and the same. He looks like such a fucking badass.

Actually he's named Drake....he was based on the legend of Dracula but he's supposed to pre-date even Dracula himself.....he's the oldest ever and so powerful he can now walk in daylight unharmed. Some guys posted up about this a looooooooooong time ago and some dude I think I hooked em up with some links about the movie or vice versa...check out these 2 posts...

Good to see it's no longer just in the works and has an actual trailer now.

Asta!!

The second one insulted my intelligence so badly I'm not sure if I'll even see the third one.

(example: vampires outrunning a beam of light around a corner of the sewer)

(example: the bloodpack wears light-proof ninja suits in the beginning of the movie, then never wears them again, even when they plan to use light to kill the bad guys later on)

Lmfao I never thought of that before.....usually I pick up on those sort of things. I guess cause I actually kinda liked that one I ignored it.

Asta!!
