Seen any good stage productions lately?

I recently saw a friend of mine in "Tommy" and "Rocky Horror Show". I was just wondering if anyone else had seen anything good recently.

Maybe no one here likes going to the theatre...

I recently saw William Saroyan's "The time of your life" at the San Francisco ACT and it was great, highly recommended.

Saw Nathan Lane and Matthew Broerick in The Producers a few weeks ago.

Also saw Thoroughly Modern Millie with Delta Burke in December.

Avenue Q. It has been a long, long LONG time since I've laughed that hard at the theater.

Was it the production from Steppenwolf in Chicago? I know that one is on tour.

I'm a lighting designer in the theatre biz so I see good stage productions all the time, and am paid to do so (though meagerly)

I recently Mamma Mia at the National Theater in DC. I thoroughly enjoyed that production.

For those of you like me who are products of the Seventies, and were completely blitzed with Abba during your earlier years by the 'rents, it will bring back some pretty good memories...

Take a chance on me, since I'm the Dancing Queen :)

I saw a local company put on A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, which you just can't go wrong with.

I see shows here on campus constantly, but the last professional production I saw was The Lion King at the Cadillac in Chicago. It was every bit as spectacular as everyone says it is, I highly recommend it! :)

I saw The Lion King In Hollywood and I thought it was great too

I also saw Into the Woods with Vanessa Williams playing the witch and that was a really good production also.

Singing in the Rain over at the Beasely Coliseum at WSU. Great deal as I was paid to go with clients.

Man, I would like to go see more shows, but they tend to be fairly expensive (for a poor college student).

Is there a good website that lists/reviews local shows? I live in Atlanta, but I'm currently going to school in Chattanooga (TN) so I would interested in shows around these two cities.

Damn, I envy you Cynthetic. A friend of mine just saw Wicked, she's absolutely in love with it.

Gotta love Avenue Q, as well. I actually have a friend auditioning for it in the next few months, I hope he gets it.

Let's see...I haven't seen anything professional for a while, a production of "2" in Portland, back around Christmas. My school just did "Phaedre", that was wonderful. And i saw a production of "Stop Kiss" at another college, that too was good.

I live 2 miles away from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, but i've been too Lazy/Poor to go see any of the shows this year...damn money...

I saw "Cash on Delivery" in Thousand Oaks at the Conejo Players and the lead guys were great...really funny stuff. Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center puts on great shows too.
