I feel like this is the only completely rewatchable one. I still like his other movies but not enough to pay.

onodrim 04-14-2004 07:23 AM

The first two Lord of the Rings movies, and soon the third. A must have for any DVD collection. :)

I'd also recommend Amercian Psycho and American Beauty, I think you'd enjoy those based on your list.

MexicanOnABike 04-14-2004 03:37 PM

i have them both on tape... but i think i'll pick up american: history x, beauty and pie soon... all good movies. psycho is good but too weird to watch over and over...

mattevil 04-14-2004 03:50 PM

you have tombstone so why don't you try some of the classic leone westerns like once upon a time in the west or the good the bad and the ugly(special edition coming out soon)?

Sion 04-15-2004 02:59 AM

I could list you a hundred movies not yet named in this thread and still not even cover half of the "must have" films in cinematic history.

but heres a couple:

A Clockwork Orange
The Warriors
The Terminator and T2: Judgement Day
A Few Good Men
Bringing Out the Dead
Dead Poet's Society
Full Metal Jacket
The Grifters
Equilibrium
Miser
Monsters Inc
Planes, Trains & Automobiles
Sling Blade
Unforgiven
Unbreakable
all 4 Alien films
the 3 Hannibal Lecter movies
The Life of David Gale
all 3 LOTR movies (yeah I know, RTOK isnt out yet)
etc
etc
etc

Well, the other Kevin Smith movies and the LotR trilogy were already mentioned, so I'd have to say the Monty Python movies and Monty Python Live.

04-15-2004 09:05 PM

American Pie 1&2&Wedding
American Beauty
Adam Sandler movies!
Bruce Almighty
Princess Bride
Traffic
Gladiator
LOTR trilogy
any Kevin Smith films
Star Wars trilogy (both)
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
any Jackie Chan or Jet Li
Me, Myself and Irene
Armageddon
Equilibrium
A.I.
The Goonies
