a) I felt like I was watching a rehash of Being John Malkovich. The Carrey/Cusack similarities were too many in number.
-It felt like reading two books by Palahniuk (who I feel keeps passing off the same story in a different setting for something new.) b) I think the writer’s scope was too broad to be captured by the talent. c) Gondry really pulled his weight. But I would still say comparatively that it was one of the best American films I saw this year. |
I absolutely loved this film. The story's original, clever & romantic and the cast is awesome.

I loved this movie. Just saw it last night and I'm still a bit affected by it. An abstract representation of real to life emotions. Plus, Carey's character sadly reminds me alot of myself.
