Unless he starts killing the wives off, the two are inextricably linked. :D

moonstrucksoul 04-07-2004 12:12 PM

onetime2 your up.

Kadath 04-07-2004 12:15 PM

Edit:
Apparently I can't read, or something. This has been a rough week.

onetime2 04-08-2004 04:20 AM

How much did Joey pay for the baby chick and what did he and Chandler name it?

teph 04-08-2004 06:09 AM

$3 and Yasmine (or little Yasmine). . . I think . . .

yes

teph 04-08-2004 11:32 AM

good deal :)

What does Joey go to the halloween party dressed as?

04-08-2004 01:24 PM

^^^ Chandler.....

teph 04-08-2004 09:52 PM

very good.

04-09-2004 11:37 AM

What apt. did the "hot girl" in Ross' building live in from Monica's Apt.?

Kaos 04-09-2004 12:16 PM

Was it 2 appartments down, 3 across?

teph 04-09-2004 08:18 PM

depends on who you ask, Joey or Monica :)

moonstrucksoul 04-10-2004 10:11 AM

second floor, seventh apt from the left.

teph 04-10-2004 09:04 PM

We need some sort of confirmation. I have no idea, truthfully.

04-10-2004 10:16 PM

yes, that is correct. Go ahead and answer, moon.

I let him pick up the pace, since no once else answered.

moonstrucksoul 04-11-2004 12:36 PM

what ruined Ross's date with Hot assistant Chef Hillary?

moonstrucksoul 04-12-2004 12:50 PM

c'mon people!

04-12-2004 12:54 PM

if no one answers, I will!

teph 04-12-2004 03:56 PM

I don't remember . . .

04-12-2004 05:23 PM

he bleached his teeth and so when she turned on her blacklight in her place, they had a really bright glow.

Ok, easier question:
What does Joey have to do for Mr. Treeger to make up for Rachel clogging up the trash chute?

teph 04-12-2004 05:25 PM

Ohh, didn't realize that was the same girl.

He dances with him so Treeger can prepare for the upcoming ball (which I'll remember the name of sooner or later)

Ross finds out that the munchies are the key to his cookie-selling success after what show lets out of the planetarium?

moonstrucksoul 04-12-2004 06:02 PM

wasn't it pink floyd?

Kadath 04-12-2004 06:15 PM

Yeah, I think it was the PF laser light show. "Cookie dude!"

teph 04-12-2004 09:31 PM

not quite. I'll give it 'til I wake up and release it to moonstrucksoul if nobody gets it

onetime2 04-13-2004 04:15 AM

Wasn't it Laser Floyd?

teph 04-13-2004 07:07 AM

very good, your question

onetime2 04-13-2004 07:32 AM

Hmmm, I still like answering them better than I like asking them but here goes...

What does Rachel constantly ask Jean Claude VanDamme while she's dating him?

moonstrucksoul 04-13-2004 10:25 AM

if he would go out with Monica. he said yes when she told him that Mon would have a threesome with Drew Barrymore and him.

my guess:
"Can you beat up that guy?"

edit: ooh, I dont think that was Rachel asking that. Ignore me.

No, your first instinct was right. She kept asking him that and got kind of giddy when he would inevitably say yes.

Even though you took it back I'll say you're up kulrblind.

your question was about Rachel.
Monica was the one who kept asking if he could "beat that guy up"

I could swear it was Rachel. And you wonder why I hate coming up with questions!

I'd have to say you're up then moonstrucksoul.

Kadath 04-13-2004 04:20 PM

So I think teph was a little exacting about the answer back there. :)

teph 04-13-2004 05:10 PM

hah, yeah, I was. That's why I asked that question - because it wasn't Pink Floyd. My apologies

Kadath 04-13-2004 05:12 PM

Well, it's no sweat, but my issue now becomes: you do realize that "Laser Floyd" is a laser light show with Pink Floyd music, not a cover band or something?

teph 04-13-2004 05:29 PM

yeah, I know; I've been to it here in atlanta - kickass show. There is a possibility that NBC didn't want to spend whatever money it might cost to use 'Pink Floyd' and instead used "Laser Floyd". Or, since it was playing at a planetarium instead of a theater/playhouse, it might have actually been a ripoff of Floyd. Just a thought.

moonstrucksoul 04-13-2004 06:28 PM

why did Chandler get pissed at Joey while they were on the ride-a-long?

sadistikdreams 04-13-2004 06:52 PM

ride a long? to vegas?
Chandler said that Joey's new movie project, Shutter Speed, wouldn't be his "big break".

moonstrucksoul 04-13-2004 07:18 PM

that was a road trip, the ride-along was with Pheobes cop boyfriend.

onetime2 04-14-2004 03:51 AM

Chandler thought Joey threw himself in front of Ross to protect him from a gunshot but didn't "protect" Chandler. I think he was actually protecting a sandwich though. Am I right?

kulrblind 04-14-2004 04:22 AM

methinks onetime2 is right on this one. Make with the question, onetime2, and maybe we can get more than one or two questions in on this fine Wednesday. :D

onetime2 04-14-2004 04:34 AM

Where do Chandler and Monica want to go instead of being at Emma's first birthday party?

kulrblind 04-14-2004 04:46 AM

Goodness... I think I know this one.

Vermont!

my question:
What book does Chandler buy Kathy for her birthday (which Joey ends up giving to her, after the coupon for "Joey lovin'" and the pen with the clock in it are tossed out) ?

Bonus points (you heard me, BONUS POINTS!) if you can tell us why Joey said he chose that particular book.

The Velveteen Rabbit.

He got it for her because he knew she liked rabbits and knew she liked cheese.

onetime2 04-14-2004 04:49 AM

What was Christina Applegate's character's name and why was she pissed at Ross and Rachel?

04-14-2004 07:03 AM

hmmm... her name was Amy and she was Rachel's other sister. I could be wrong, but isnt she mad at Ross and Rachel because she doesn't get Emma if they die?

Yep. You're up.

04-14-2004 03:16 PM

okay let's see.....

When they're all in Las Vegas, after Joey's movie falls through, what does Joey come up with as a money-making scheme?

sadistikdreams 04-14-2004 06:16 PM

If Phobe guessed that Rachel was Pancho Villa at the nonexistant costume party, who was Ross?

04-15-2004 04:12 PM

^^^ Bob Sagget.

How much did Gunther pay for Rachel's cat?

Kadath 04-15-2004 04:26 PM

Um...she paid $800, I think, and I think she made a profit...a grand?

sadistikdreams 04-15-2004 06:26 PM

2000$, I think.
That Gunther....

04-15-2004 08:44 PM

sorry, sadistik, it wasn't $2000....good shot!

moonstrucksoul 04-15-2004 10:26 PM

i will answer in the morning if no one gets this.

kulrblind 04-16-2004 04:53 AM

Ooh, so close.

It was $1,500 (she wanted 2k from the woman who fled after seeing the cat).

My question... an easy one, just to keep up the rhythm:

In the early episodes, what was the name of "The Wine Guy" who Monica dated, and subsequently broke his watch by accident (after the breakup).

ANSWER: (in case I'm not here, but no peeking)
Spoiler: Paul the Wine Guy

I know this one because it's my name. Paul.

Whose hairstyle did Phoebe give to Monica when she cut her hair?

kulrblind 04-16-2004 05:40 AM

hahaha, well, it sure wasn't Demi Moore's!

It was Dudley Moore's.

My question:
Which "two teams" did Ross's first wife, Carol, play for (er.. in college, that is)?

Answer (no peeking):
Spoiler: ...the lacrosse team and the golf team

Kadath 04-16-2004 10:02 AM

Uh, tennis and field hockey? Didn't we have this question? I remember getting it wrong before (and I think I am again). Or maybe that was playing the "Friends" board game...

Edit: Yeah, I got it wrong again! DAMN IT! :)

Well, between the two of us we got it right. I knew the part you got wrong but thought the other one was volleyball.

sadistikdreams 04-16-2004 12:40 PM

hmmm..... golf and... lacrosse(very east coast. ask someone here what lacrosse is, and they look at you blankly)...
*quickly puts away friends dvd*

You're up, sadistikdreams!

sadistikdreams 04-17-2004 04:22 PM

Alright, cool.
Lets seee.........
I will be back with a question soon.

moonstrucksoul 04-17-2004 07:16 PM

dammit, hurry up;)

04-18-2004 07:31 PM

Is someone else going to take this or are we still waiting?

moonstrucksoul 04-18-2004 08:14 PM

fine, I'll take point!

what was the name of Pheobe's "roomate"?

kulrblind 04-19-2004 04:45 AM

Umm, if you're talking about the rat, it's "Bob".
Bob subsequently had babies, but Phoebes stuck with the name. :)

Confirm?

onetime2 04-19-2004 04:49 AM

Well, there was Rachel, and Monica, and then all the homeless people, and .... :)

teph 04-19-2004 07:00 AM

there was the chick before rachel who, apparently, might be santa claus, but then she never came back.

Don't remember her name, though

moonstrucksoul 04-19-2004 11:04 AM

the name of her 'roomate', when Rachel needed a place to move in to.;)

04-19-2004 12:00 PM

*notice "roommate" is in quotation marks.......

sadistikdreams 04-19-2004 03:07 PM

oh bummer. i had prepared a really good question.

04-19-2004 03:22 PM

^^ if u get moon's right, you can have it.
HINT: when Rachel had to move out and Chandler & Monica were going to live together. Rachel asked Pheobe and she nonchalantly said she has a roommate (insert name here), and 'acted' upset for the Friends not knowing who it is.

sadistikdreams 04-19-2004 07:01 PM

DENISE!

moonstrucksoul 04-19-2004 08:04 PM

"Denise, Denise, DENISE, man you guys never listen to me!" - Pheobe

I think we all noticed, we just didn't know the answer you were going for. That's why we felt compelled to offer the little bits of knowledge we did have. :D

04-20-2004 11:42 AM

you're up sadistik!

sadistikdreams 04-20-2004 02:53 PM

Allllright, back in the game.

When Joey moves out of Chandler's apartment, Chandler gets a new room-mate. A crazy new room-mate. What is his name?
BONUS: What kind of pet does he give Chandler?

kulrblind 04-20-2004 03:23 PM

guess on the name: Eddie
the pet, I believe, was a goldfish cracker in a fishbowl.

sadistikdreams 04-20-2004 03:49 PM

yes.
you're up

kulrblind 04-20-2004 03:58 PM

ok, quick and easy (hopefully not asked already):

What was the name of Joey's imaginary childhood friend, and what was his occupation?

Spoiler: Maurice, and he was a space cowboy

(and post the new question once you get it! I'm offline till tomorrow)

Kadath 04-20-2004 04:10 PM

Maurice, Space Cowboy.

This is a tough one. Name one of the things Ross claims were his idea.

sadistikdreams 04-20-2004 04:44 PM

Well... The trip with Phobe to Atlanta was his idea...

But I'm pretty sure Kadath is going for something else here... I know what it's going for and I can't remember at all, so I got nothing.

sadistikdreams 04-20-2004 07:22 PM

oh right, Atlantic City.

d'oh, i was just coming in with "die hard". damn.

wrongfullyaccuzd 04-20-2004 08:56 PM

Glad to be in the game.

What are the four theories that Joey says did not pan out?

((Trick question: One of the theories was his.))

Kadath 04-21-2004 05:01 AM

By the way, I was thinking of "Die Hard" and "Got Milk?" but the Playboy question is, indeed, correct. Also, ironchef82, to save you from calling me "it", I'm a "he." :)

I imagine gravity is one of the theories, but I have a feeling this question is going to require some research on episode DVDs by whoever gets it.

KatieSays 04-21-2004 08:18 AM

1. He told Chandler that if a couple had chemisty onstage they would never have chemisty offstage
2. The lonegunman
3. Communism
4. Geometry
(i only know this because it was my senior quote)

What was the name of Monica's childhood bakery?

sadistikdreams 04-21-2004 08:20 AM

easy bake monica's

Heh heh, sorry, I should have been clear, I was referring to what *the question* was going for, not the question asker per se. But when I was writing, that was probably because I was avoiding assigning you a gender, so thanks for clarifying anyway :-).

Ah, yes, the Got Milk? campaign... now that rings a bell.

What I was thinking (and didn't get here in time to post it) was that he also says while teaching his class that Jurassic Park was his idea.

KatieSays 04-21-2004 10:36 AM

Sorry it's not easy bake monica's but you are close.
