Question about a movie...
 

I figured this was the only place to ask, seeing as whenever i've had any other questions about the most obscure and vauge things, yall over here at TFP have been able to answer it within minutes....so here's my question/scavanger hunt thingie:

about 9 years ago or so, on HBO there was this movie, the only thing i can remember about it, is that it had to do with batteling Mech's, took place on earth or some other planet, there was a training acadamy, and the villian had the best line to date...(as the hero stood behind the gauntlet of his fallen mech, the villain screams out) "I will squash you like a bug" in some weird German accent.

WHAT IS THIS MOVIE!?! i can't remember for the life of me...anyone know?

nope...freejacks not it...they were fighting inside giant robots, and no it wasn't the MMPR movie, or Voltron ;)

I was gonna say "Robot Jox" too. That sounds like it might be it.

I'll third "Robot Jox"... man I haven't seen that movie in years!

It's either Robot Wars or Robot Jox, one is the sequel of the other (haven't seen them in years) but that's gotta be it.

'Robot Jox' had the guy who took over James Caan's character from the movie 'Alien nation' when they made it a tv show.
And i think his nemesis, in 'Robot Jox' was that big Russian/German looking guy who was the head Security guard with Gov. Arnold Schwarzeneggar in "the Running Man. Arnie was in 'Total Recall' with Sharon Stone and Sharon was in 'He Said/She Said' with . . . . . you guessed it Kevin Bacon! thank you, thank you very much

I'm pretty sure it's Robot Jox too. I remember this (terrible) movie being on HBO....and I watched it :) :p

it's been a while since i posted, (compys been down) but i checked all my local blockbusters, and they didn't have it, go figure, the obscure little family owned video store actually had it on VHS and was gonna sell it to me for 4 dollars. :D super stoked, so i rented it, watched it, and realized yes...this is it..this is good..this is mine.
