Has no one seen this movie? Charlize Theron is pretty much unrecognizable, but damn she is convincing as a poor, trashy, serial killing hooker. She actually gained all kinds of unsightly flab for the role. which is pretty impressive, as far as dedication goes.

Anyway, what do you guys think about this film? I think Theron just nailed this role, and she'll at least get nominated for some awards come year's end.

I haven't seen the movie, only the trailer but just from that it seems like Charlize did a damn good job, probably deserving of an Academy Award.

The movie was pretty depressing especially since it was a true story. I would bet that she will win best actress with her performance, she definately nailed that role.

I had no Idea it was here after seeing the trailer on TV until they said it was her, very scary makeup!

It must be good......Jesus. She has prosthetic teeth and gained 30 lbs. Crazy...

Decent movie. But more importantly to me, Charlize Theron proved she can truly act. A big part of what I believe a persons acting ability to be, is that they can portray a character that makes me forget they are an actor. This reminded me alot of De Niro's performance in Raging Bull. Not half the movie, but a fantastic performance by Theron.

She truly deserves the Academy Award.
