24 is one of the best shows on TV. Only 3 shows left and after last night's and the preview for next week, I just can't wait.

fun show, i catch it every week. i think some of the characterizations are inconsistent and/or illogical as a means to further the plot, which is frustrating at points.

I think it is awesome as well. Sometimes I would be happier if it was 12 instead of 24 though. The whole story line with his daughter was just ridiculous.

I am waiting for the season to be released on DVD...I just can't seem to get in front of the TV when it is on. Just way too busy. This is not the type of show that you can miss an episode and jump right into it. So, I guess I will have to wait now til season 2 comes out on DVD, and watch them all back-to-back...

just watched the latest episode with the tete a tete between the Pres and the Vice Pres...

must say that it wasn't all that believable.. especially when tens of thousands of lives are at stake.

This season of 24 is better than last. Jack is more psycho. Only one thing could make the show better; Kim gets naked or killed!

I could do without any of the Kim plots... that whole bunker thing and the mountain lion, and then the store.... it's just too much, like they are fullilling her contract or something.

But I want to choke the Presidents wife EVERYTIME I see that bitch... no charecter on TV has ever inspired that kind of hate in me.... seriously... she reminds me of my EX and that just infuriates me.

to me she's a great caricature of Hillary Clinton. I feel the same for the character and Hillary. I loathe them both.

24 is the shit. Jack is a HARD-ASS. I love the fact that in any situation, I don't care who it is, he doesn't have time for ANYBODY'S bullshit. Shooting at Mrs. Palmer next week is gonna rule.

I don't think he's shooting at Mrs. Palmer. I think he might be trying to protect her. I have a feeling that she is trying to figure out the same thing that Jack is working on... figuring out who made the bogus recording.

I don't know about that <shrug> I've never liked her though and just once i'd like President Palmer to slap the shit out of her.

I also agree with the Kim storylines. Enough already. I mean even in TV land where anything that can happen does happen it gets old.

There is not a better show on TV right now. Boston Public is a distant 2nd, even, and I like that show. I like the real time drama of 24, as it makes it that much more intense. Yeah, there's a few things that seem a little far fetched, but I'd bet that those kinds of things happen more often than you just might think.

I missed the first season of 24, but I was able to watch it on DVDs from the local video store - that was quite an effort.

Our local cable station recently ran the whole lot over one 24 hour period. (I could have saved all that video rental money).

Enjoying the second season. I think Mrs Palmer is a bitch cos the actress used to play Larry Sanders' secretary. I think Hank Kingsley's fucktardedness must have rubbed off.

Gonna have to go against you on this one. That bitch is up to her eyeballs in this thing. I think she's helping out these oil companies for a fat paycheck and helping her ex-husband out of a job and a big "fuck you" for kicking her to the curb. SHe'll be running her mouth like she always does and I wouldn't put it past Jack to shoot her to shut her up. He's been that psycho all year.

Before the season began, I was concerned with how they could pull off another season like season one. Once Jack shot that guy in the first episode and then asked for a hacksaw, it's been great ever since.

I strongly feel that 24 is the best show on Television. Personally, I think the writers are brilliant. I am happy its ending next week because I can't take waiting every week. Its bad for my heart. :P How are they going to top this season next season?

It's definitely set up well for the 3rd season. I think it was a little hurried in this final show, but it came off well, I think. I need to get the first season DVD set, and I'll get the 2nd season set for sure. I missed the first few.

watched and enjoyed every show this season, but by the end plotholes and character inconsistencies used to drive the plot grated on my nerves.

example: alex what's-his-name recorded all of his phone conversations with kingsley in order to cover his ass. michelle was looking at all of those recorded conversations while she was in the van - right there they had evidence to incriminate kingsley and prove the recording was fake! but no, a showdown w/kingsley was manufactured.

mercury, consider the time factor though..
they'd have to take a few hours to prove that the recordings were genuine, and by that time, bombs would have already been dropped.

with the live feed, however, it would've been impossible to forge.

Has anyone noticed the wide variety of writers and directors? It's not always the same people. Yes, there are some inconsistencies but not very many, especially given the number of people involved in the writing and directing. It's well-done TV.
