Do you think the title of the 'The Last Samurai' is meant to be plural or singular?

I think its Plural. Its in reference to ALL of them not just Tom Cruise.

What do you think?

I take "The Last Samurai" as plural, too. But, it could easily work both ways, so I could see if they wanted to shoot for a more ambiguous title.
