Simpsons writer spoke at O.U. Today, i got to attend.

Mike Reiss one of the many writers of "The Simpsons" spoke at my college today. I’m not sure what to actually say, but it was just so exciting to hear from one of the masterminds of a 15 year show! He was incredibly funny; every other word out of his mouth was fuck, shit, bitch, etc. He was there to talk about the show, but he mostly made jokes, it was more like a comedy act, but it was really cool to hear a lot of inside information, he showed cut clips. He also showed us clips from "the critic", He left the simpsons to begin to work on that show, although it didn’t last long, and he soon returned to the simpsons. He told us a really funny story, He said while he was off the show, he came by to see someone at the writing studio, and they asked him advice for an episode "when Selma marries troy McClure", "we need some kind of weird scandal that troy is involved in, got any ideas" Mike said -"i don’t know, make him fuck dolphins" Ironically enough, that’s exactly what they did.
