Dark Horizons have reported that an anonymous source sent in some info regarding the Alien vs Predator movie. The person describes in detail of a promo shoot for the teaser trailer or teaser poster. Here's part of the report:

"Last Thurs (9/11), there was a promo shoot for the teaser trailer or teaser poster(s) for the new Aliens vs. Predator movie. Now, I don't know when it will be released but what I saw was totally cool. Here's what I saw: A caucasian male, 6"2, in complete Predator suit/make-up getting ready for some still shots. When I saw him, he wasn't wearing the helmet but the costume pretty much was reminiscent of the last two Predator films. The only difference was that the mask (or helmet) looked more metallic than I remember it being (sorry to say it, but, it reminded me of the metallic finish on the Jason mask in Jason X, when he is turned into the SUPER JASON! BUT cooler). Anyway, the suit was only air-brushed from the waist down, which leads me to believe that the shoot was for a teaser poster..."

My gosh, first they hire a craptastic diretor, second they deny Stan Winston to do the sfx, third they release a crap poster and fourth they set the damn piece of shit in Antartica... I'll still go see it but I'm not holding my breath for it to be any good.

I hope this movie doesn't suck.

I'm guessing it's still rated PG-13... the more I hear the less I'm looking forward to this movie. Hopefully I'm very wrong.

6'2? WTF? Add another foot to that and you'll have the original Predators height. R.I.P. Kevin Peter Hall.

i would see it simply for the nostelgia it brings. When it came out I remember aliens came out I remember going to see it with friends. good times :)

An intergalatic war between the two species?!

Isn't the Predator an intelligent alien and the.... erm, the Alien just a dumb eating machine?

^^^ You could say that. The Aliens were a bit smarter than people gave them credit for but by no means near the intelligence of The Predator. Least I don't think so I could be mistaken. You ain't big on this sort a thing? Well I'm pretty stoked but the poster said "In Theaters This August" and the website says they'll begin lensing late this month for release next summer. Can't fuckin wait. I've been wanting them to make this movie for a decade now. STOKED!
