Anybody see K Street (on right after Carnivale on HBO)?

Honestly I think K Street might trump Carnivale in some respects. It's a unique experiment (I certainly haven't seen anything like it) that has a lot of potential.

For those who didn't see it, it's a fictional account (sort of) of a washington d.c. firm that manages political campaigns. It has actors, but it also has real people playing themselves (including the two main characters).

It is filmed every week and is about what's happening in politics during the week it's filmed. So, basically, you'll see it Sunday and it will kind of be like a behind the scenes look at what has just happened in politics the previous week.

I'm sure some people will find it boring, but I think it could be a great show. The main flaw I see so far is that it can tend to pull its punches and handle certainly real people with kid gloves. After all it's filmed in Washington D.C. using real politicians, so I guess the producers don't want to get a reputation for slamming people they might want to have on the show in the future.

Did anyone else see it? I'm curious to know what other people thought.

hmm It sounds interesting. By looking at program info i just saw a few actors names and it looked like a lateshow type of information. Guess i was wrong. I'll check it out the next time Isee it on.

I watched it. I liked it.

It's an interesting show.

I watched it because I'm a big Carville fan and he had Howard Dean on there. This could have tremendous potential.

I think they're going to have a hard time doing a no-holds barred reality show whose "stars" are back pedaling politicians and under handed lobbyists.

Hope it works out though

Interesting first show, but they are going to have kick it up a notch,
get out of the comedy, and into the nitty-gritty.

Kind of like the Sopronos but with Washington politics.
They have a chance to do something good with this on HBO.
