punk authors? I've read a few books by authors who are supposed to represen a genre of music, like jazz, or rock and roll And I wanted to find a good book inspired by punk. seems like it would be a good mix |

I have read alot.... ranging from excellent to bad. Here are some of the best: "Please Kill Me" by Legs McNeil & Gillian McCain "Our Band Could Be Your Life" Michael Azerrad "Dance of Days: Two Decades of Punk in the Nation's Capital" by Mark Andersen and Mark Jenkins. Hope this helps. Amazon has all three of these books. |

I'm pretty sure Jello Biafra wrote a book. Don't know what it is called. That would be worth a read. |

"Get in the van" by Henry Rollins. Quite funny. The guy doesn't exactly try to make himself look good, either. |
