We can't all be film critics all the time, can we? What are some of your favorite guilty pleasure movies? Here are a few that I own:

Batman: The Movie (1966)

Some are for nostalgia, others are just stupid and funny. I've got plenty of smart, make-you-think, type movies. I've got a few decent foreign films, but sometimes I just wanna kick back and watch something stupid.

My "just for shits and grins" movies would have to include Spaceballs and Joe Dirt.

GI Joe the movie. It's not a guilty pleasure for me, in the sense that I don't feel guilty or ashamed for watching it at all. But many are shamed for me when I profess my undying love for it.

Mine would be Point Break, Road House, Brotherhood of the Wolf, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Let the verbal beating commense. :)

The Trancers Series. Good cheesy action sci-fi.

Thunderbirds are Go! Any Monty Python, Benny Hill, Conan the Barbarian (first movie, NOT the cartoon or live action shows), original Transformers TV show, SpongeBob, Night of the Living Dead (original 60's movie), Dawn of the Dead, The Return of the Living Dead, and any original Godzilla movie ever made.

I don't own this one, but I think Josie and the Pussycats is hilarious.

Well, let's see - I'm still one of only about 3 people I know who LIKED Kung Pow. And I love watching it from time to time.

I also love watching cheesy/horrible Jackie Chan movies.

Great films, and watching Ferris Bueller's when you are pulling a sickie from work is such good fun.:D
I really like the old black & white films from Ealing Studios, films like the Ladykillers, The Lavender Hill Mob and Whisky Galore. These are really brilliant films, which I neve get tried of watching.

Harry Potter books

Six String Samurai...{laughs} I was pretty sure I was the only person alive to have seen that one.

I think that there's probably only about a half dozen movies on this thread that I don't own... Good stuff. Good times.

monty python and the holy grail, surf ninjas, nija turtles, bill & ted's amazing adventure (or whatever it's called.. :-/), The best of What's left of Not Only But Also, any kind of muppets, Galaxy Quest, Sgt. Bilko, I'm gonna Get you Sucka, Veggie Tales, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and probly tons of other loverly stuff..

I know it's stupid.. but I love the movie Clueless.. I have seen it so many times and I still think it is funny!

Oddly, the 'odd couple' matchup of Belushi and Schwartenegger in Red Heat is a movie I can watch through and through every time. There's also a movie, "Night of the Creeps", which is so bad it's good.
