Yep me too! I buy them because it makes me feel like a god.... manipulating those little beings MWUAHAHAHAHAHA!

But seriously, I do collect them, I buy almost anything good, my collection consists of MacFarlane stuff, Star Wars stuff (75%), Lord of ther Rings stuff, assorted movie stuff (ie Matrix, Spiderman), Transformers (all series except Armada), Toy Story... shit, I need a life!

Mind you I don't play with any of them, just got them in a big wooden bookshelf, they look cool so I buy them.

wow they made silverhawk toys? I must have missed those.. I do have the set of thundercats toys still in the blister packs though.. I might need to sell those on Ebay to pay off these student loans. I used to collect figures religiously.. until i became a broke assed adult, and my parents stopped supporting me. Now i just buy certain figures that I like.. and if it's really cool.. i'll even play with them. Screw preservation.. life's too short. You could die tomorrow and your prized collection would go to waste. Fuck that.. im playing with my toys

I pick them up occasionally. I have the full speed racer set including a Mach 5. Plus I have all of my original star wars figures (out of the box of course) including a millenium falcon, AT-AT, and Darth Vader carrying head!

I am an ecclectic collector..
This means that i pick up whatever catches my attention.
i'm not big on ToyBiz (did you see all the excess flash on the hands in the Star Trek series? i didn't even pick up Data for my Dad.... although father's day is approaching.... )
My sister is the true collector in the family.

They're all still in the packages, thumbtacked to the wall where i can gaze at them adoringly...

I don't collect anymore but when I saw the new GI Joe 2 pack with duke and cobra commander I bought it. I opened them though. I just couldn't resist. GO JOE!

Ok, let's see.... The new Justice League figures are tight. So are the Gundam Battle Scarred figures. Macfarlane stuff used to impress but his style is SOOO 1996. And sports toys? What the hell is that all about?

These days I'm most interested in small edition designer toys... Pete Fowler, Michael Lau. Not that I can afford to buy many of them, but when I can, it's sweet.

In a different vein, Stikfas are awesome. I don't have the skills to customize them but some people out there have made some awesome figures with them.

I have only a few action figures... One DBZ Super Sayian Goku that lights up on my computer who is stabbing a sword through stupid Beanie Baby dragon my ex gave me, and the Intel Guy (back when pentiums came out) is humping him... quite funny. Besides that, I have no more figures.
