Need the name of this song!
This is a song that is played during medieval video game introductions etc. It is an orchestra and fairly loud/intense. I need to know the name of the song! The only time I remember hearing it was on a commercial for the legend of zelda a long time ago. Any more info just ask. Thanks.

You could to opening Kazaa and searching for mp3s with "Zelda" in the title...?
yea what he said or winmx
Ooh, or better yet, download "Blubster." It's solely mp3 based, and the best program I've found.
I think you need to be more specific, heh, hard to narrow it down from that description. Maybe something by Wagner?
Chances are if it played during a Zelda commercial it was the main Zelda theme.
Actually a friend of mine found it. Its called O' Fortuna (The Excalibur Theme Song). Thanks for the help though!
I was about to say that...its also used in the charging scene in Glory....
Buellers Day back from being off was truelly brutal. |
If it's the song from excalibur, you can get it on the "carmina curana" cd, EMI classics.
Er, "carmina Burana"
Somehow that sounds dirty...
Must just be me |

Nice piece though. |
O Fortuna is from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, not Wagner, though the style is very similar. It was not in Glory during the Fort Wagner scene, that piece, "Charging Fort Wagner" was written by James Horner but again obviously inspired by O Fortuna. It was featured in last year's Madden 2003 "Kickimus Maximus Buttimus" commercials and is often used during Fox Sports telecasts when they need to crank up the melodrama.
